About this property
Private Guest House loft in NW OKC
Newly renovated private guest house in the heart of NW OKC. Safe, quiet neighborhood minutes away from Mercy Hospital, Lake Hefner, highways, parks, and great shopping and dining.
The space
This guest house is in our back yard, but entirely separate from the main home. Everything has been remodeled with a modern, industrial style. The house includes a large sleeping loft with queen-sized bed, full bathroom, and kitchenette with fridge, dishes, and essential small appliances. The steps leading up to the loft are steep and may not be accessible for everyone. The living area has a new futon and a Roku with access to Netflix and Hulu. We also have a portable crib available upon request. Well-behaved pets are welcome!
Guest access
There is a gate and private driveway leading right up to the back house. We will provide you with a code to the keypad lock to let yourself in. Use caution when pulling in and out of driveway, as there is a drop-off on the far side.
Other things to note
Occasionally we have to access the garage that is attached to the guest house. We will do our best to be quiet, but don't be alarmed if you hear something coming from that direction. We will never enter the guest house during your stay without your permission.
Additional house rules to note:
The house rules are below and failure to abide could result in you being asked to leave without a refund and/or withholding of your security deposit:
- No parties.
- There is 1 parking spot available for your use. You are welcome to park in the back, but please close the large side gate after coming and going. You may also park on the side of the house in front of the gate. If you need additional parking, please let me know and I can do my best to accommodate. Please do not park in the street. Please refrain from coming and going late at night.
- Our house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Out of respect for our neighbors, we ask that you keep quiet hours from dusk until dawn. If you are looking for a place to party, this rental is not for you!
- No smoking indoors. Please smoke in the backyard and discard of cigarette butts.
- No additional guests unless requested by guest and permitted by host.
- We love hosting your furry friends, but it can create a lot of wear and tear on our place. Should you choose to bring pets, we appreciate you keeping them off all furniture and crated when not under direct supervision. There is also an additional fee for pets. There is a fully fenced-in yard for your dogs. No aggressive dogs are allowed. Please be aware that the main house tenants may also have a dog (although there is a metal fence that separates the 2 backyard areas). Please don't leave dogs unattended in the backyard and clean up after them.
- Use coasters on wood surfaces.
- Avoid leaving standing water on countertops. Do not set hot items directly on counters.
- Checkout is 11. Before checking out, please wash all used dishes and place the trash can outside by the door.
- Aside from expected use (such as dirty dishes, dirty linens, etc.) please leave the property the way you found it.
