La Grange: house with panoramic view
We warmly welcome you to this renovated barn, nestled in the small village of Couret. Come and recharge your batteries in this peaceful, comfortable, and bright house. From its terrace, enjoy the breathtaking view of the Pic du Cagire. And in the warmer months, take a dip in the pool! On the agenda: peace and quiet and the mountains! Sports, cultural sites and pretty villages, gastronomy... It's the ideal base for all your adventures in the heart of the Comminges region! The accommodation: The house has 3 bedrooms: - the Mustard room with a 160*200 bed, equipped with air conditioning; - the Turquoise room with a 140*200 bed; - the Sage room with a bunk bed, equipped with air conditioning. All mattresses are new and of good quality. There is a bathroom with a large shower and toilet upstairs, and a separate toilet on the ground floor. Ground floor. On the very large, south-facing terrace, you can enjoy your meals, relax, or simply admire the surrounding mountains. Below, in the warmer months, you can swim in the large, private, and secure swimming pool (8m x 4m). In the surrounding garden, you can enjoy the figs, apples, grapes, or strawberries that grow there. We practice late mowing around the edges of the garden to provide shelter and food for our little animal friends. Guests have access to the entire house and garden. The house is well insulated and air-conditioned – it's not cold in winter, nor too hot in summer. Families are welcome! Upon request, the following can be provided: 1 travel cot (with bedding, blanket, and mattress), 2 high chairs, 1 changing table, 1 toilet seat reducer, 1 potty, 1 baby bath, books, and children's games. Guest Access: Guests have access to the entire house and garden. Parking is available right next to the entrance or in the school car park just above. Other Remarks: Practical Information: Arrival time: 4 PM - 8 PM Departure time: 9am-10am PGJyPg Please contact us if you wish to arrive or depart outside of these hours. PGJyPg During school holidays, rentals are by the week. Outside of holidays and long weekends, the minimum stay is 2 nights. PGJyPg PGJyPg Bed linen, bath towels, and tea towels are provided. PGJyPg PGJyPg For minor emergencies, you will find a pharmacy and a health centre with doctors on call in Aspet (5 minutes by car). For other emergencies, the Saint-Gaudens hospital is 20 minutes away. Parties are strictly prohibited, out of respect for the neighbors. Activities: There is plenty to do in the region! Hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, farm visits, Bagnères-de-Luchon, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, Saint-Lizier, Gargas cave… You'll find something to enjoy! Don't forget to visit the lovely market. From Aspet, a 5-minute drive away, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
