Unique and quirky property nicely in the National Forest. Hot tub was great after a hike, and loved the seating area in the bedroom. Pro for some, con for others. Massive campground behind property that had concerts both nights. Not a peaceful setting if you want quiet relaxation.Lots of spiderwebs, cobwebs, fresh spills on the deck and empty beer bottles under the sink. Floor seems to have no subfloor so several spots feel like you're going to go through the floor. One of the tvs is strategically positioned to hide that the Roku will fall out.

Weekend get away!!

What a wonderful unique property! We were impressed from the minute we walked in. From the decor to the welcoming home away from home atmosphere it was perfect for our stay. The hot tub was warm and ready upon arrival the kitchen worked perfect for our meals we whipped up. I loved the set up and have already been telling friends and family about it! Will definitely visit again l.

Comfortable, clean, and great location.

This was our 3rd stay. The home is very clean, warm and welcoming. We love the design of the house. It has both a very spacious open area that's large enough to comfortably accommodate all of us, as well there are other more intimate areas if to get away and relax alone or with a friend. It's always a pleasure to visit.

Nicely refinished inside, like hummingbirds, this is your place, they go to every feeder, open, near many things. Visited several spots including wineries and breweries, and was there for the Strawberry Fest.

Relaxing and Peaceful Getaway

Wonderful getaway

The house was just like the pictures and so cool!! It was only about 30 min away from the trails we hiked and such an east drive. Bill was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very kind and helpful. We had such a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Unique home!

The kids were thrilled with the house—with the archways and torches it was very exotic. We went fishing in the reservoir with a guide. The boat ramp was 5 minutes away. The host was very accommodating and was appreciative of my alert of small problem in the kitchen. Very clean and comfortable.

could not access the TV. Multiple remotes were confusing. Unable to get into any of the platforms to watch. Need to have directions that are more clear as to how to access different programs, or list those not available. Towels need to be upgraded. Hot tub was wonderful. Seems like the setting is great for a larger group but the house would not accommodate more than 6..Love the area, absolutely beautiful. All in all it was a very nice trip.

We had trouble checking in as we couldn’t get the lockbox to open. Since there is no cell service that holds a call for about ten miles or more we drove until we could get a good connection with the owner who lives a long way from the rental. He then remembered that he had hidden a key on the property. We were then able to get in. While at the rental we lost power the first night for no known reason. There is no generator. We also couldn’t get the TV to work. It did work the day after the power failure. The third evening there was a thunderstorm which caused the internet to go out. Thus no phones or TV. The properties kitchen I’m very poor condition. The counters are scratched up everywhere and very sticky as are the floors. The cabinets are in need of updating as well. The property has great decor and a good location. Bill Gannon

Not what you are expecting

Doors not locking, almost all windows without curtains, which makes it creepy and scary at night, because of animals around, what actually happened to us, that deer was staring into window at night. House making so many creaking noises at night, kids may get scared. Worst wifi I ever saw, couldn’t even watch a movie or listen to the music. I payed for a house with a hot tub, but owner didn’t allowed to use it, “because of a season”. Why don’t you tell us this before we can cancel it. How do i know that I can’t use a hot tub, you telling me that when i’m already there. So many little stupid things, that you can fix… trees near the house are literally falling, you don’t feel safe in place like this. Air vents are broken you got warm air blowing in your room, and air so dry at night that you can’t even breathe, have to open windows, which is scary during to noises and animals around. And only one thing that I liked is atmosphere overall.
