The cabin is absolutely beautiful, they have so much to offer, I wish we could have stayed longer. We enjoyed everything about this cabin. Catching the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee on the third deck was priceless. The only things we thought that could make the place better was having coffee on hand, even a small variety of Kcups, creamer etc, and metal skewers for s’mores, and maybe a area guide of all the things todo in the area, nearest grocery store etc. We definitely will consider renting this cabin again.

Renter Beware
First of all, when we arrived and opened the door it smelled of stinky food. The trash can is filthy and the foot pedal on the can to open the lid is broke so you have to touch the nasty dirty lid everytime to trow things away. The kitchen cabinet doors and knobs are greasy and have food on them. The coffee pot is gross,no way I was making my coffee in that.If the pots not even clean I'm sure the inside hasn't been cleaned. The oven mitts have food on them and there is food in the drawer that the mitts are kept in.The steak knives are dirty and one of the plates that was in the cabinet has food all over it.So consequently,we had to wash every dish, bowl, cup and utensil before we used it,not confident things were actually clean.Just because something comes out of the dishwasher doesn't mean it's clean. The fireplace wouldn't stay on more then 5-10 min.The hot tub was only 97 degrees and several of the jets didn't work and there was orange styrofoam floating in the water. One of the theater recliners on the lower level is broke. The Love seat/double rocker on the middle deck is broke. The sink in the downstairs bathroom is stopped up and the king bed is SO squeeky and noisy. Its not comfortable in my opinion. The owner responded saying he doesn't know how to respond, told me he has many good reviews.Thanked me but said he would not be refunding me any money, said he cannot change the past. Needless to say it was not a good experience at the cabin or with the owner,Wish I could attach photo
Our family had a wonderful time at Moose Tracks Tavern. The cabin was cozy and had great mountain views. During the day we enjoyed hiking, train rides, and downtown Blue Ridge. In the evenings we enjoyed the fire pit and making S'mores.
Drive up is great. Little steep on the last two turns in, but our 2WD worked just fine. The pictures don't do it justice, absolutely beautiful in the summer. Place was clean and when we needed something, the property manager responded quickly. Hot tub was clean and beautiful views during the day and the stars at night were breathtaking! There was even a baby gate and a pack and play for the littles. The game room was a perfect indoor distraction for our son and mommy and daddy too! The 3 deck options made for easy access to stunning views on any floor. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave.
We had a great weekend at this cabin. It was clean and as described. The location was great. You can’t see any other properties from the decks. We spent lots of time in front of the fire pit. Our days were spent exploring downtown Blue Ridge. It’s about 20 minutes away. The kitchen is fully equipped. And they actually have soft toilet paper, not the cheap stuff. Love that! We would visit again.
We had an amazing getaway staying in the cabin. It was secluded but close enough to the stores, restaurants, and downtown Blue Ridge! The cabin was peaceful and had amazing views! The property manager was extremely helpful and responded right away!
