Brown Manor (Hocking Hills Area)

Located just outside of Logan in Rockbridge, Brown Manor features one bedroom, one and half baths and a sleeping loft. Situated off of a private drive at Deer Run Manors, it has a deck with a hot tub that overlooks the wooded valley behind the cottage. The first floor features a full kitchen and dining area. In the living room, there is plenty of seating to enjoy the view of the valley below from the large window, a 50" smart TV, and gas fireplace. There is also a bedroom with a full bed and full bath. In the sleeping loft you will find a queen bed, two twin beds, and a half bath. Within 30 minutes from popular Hocking Hills parks and attractions. Located within 10 minutes of Cantwell Cliffs and Clear Creek Metro Park.

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home we will have an external security camera located by the front door facing the sidewalk and parking area.

Last minute family getaway

Everything was exactly as described, the beds were comfortable. Myself and 3 teenagers had a great time, the hot tub was perfect after spending the day hiking in the area. We will definitely stay here if we come back to the area

Beautiful View and Extremely Clean

This cabin was perfect! We have family in Logan so we weren’t at the cabin much, but when we were it was so quiet and peaceful. The views out the living room window and off the porch were gorgeous. The FIRST thing we noticed, though, was how CLEAN this cabin was. As soon as you walked in the door it smelled so fresh and new, but not like chemicals. There was not a spec of dust anywhere. My dad liked it so much, I think he’s already planning to take my stepmom back for their anniversary. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Weekend in the hills

Great location. Couldn't ask for anything else in the cabin. Had an amazing time with the family. Hiking Ash Cave, Old Mans cave, and even Cantwell Cliffs.. loved seeing all the deer when driving around.

Very Peaceful

Had a wonderful stay at the Brown Manor. Very clean, quiet and perfect for get away from the city. Loved the fireplace and the Hot tub. Everything was amazing! Will visit again!

Brown manor cabin

A great cozy cabin! Very clean and secluded. The walk from where you park to the cabin was a bit of a trip! But would definitely go back!

Hocking Family Weekend.

Property was quiet, comfortable and had plenty of space myself, my wife and our 4 kids. Everything was as advertised and close to all the parks and trails. Overall a very convenient process and fun weekend!

Peaceful getaway

Hot tub was new and awesome, beds comfortable, kitchen tight, but fully equipped. One suggestion, get a bigger kitchen table for familu use!

Girls Trip

Very clean, soft clean towels, comfortable beds. The hot tub was excellent. The only thing is the steps to the upstairs are very steep with narrow landings, no problem for kids or healthy adults.

Cozy Getaway

Enjoyed the hot tub the most, but everything else was also great. I did need to add water to the hot tub, but that was east enough and the property manager guided me through it. Will return again!

Great little place

This cabin was a really nice little place and super easily reachable from Columbus. The reasons I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the listing is a little misleading about how secluded it is. You can see the front door of the next cabin when you step out on to the deck where the hottub is. Also, the beds are pretty uncomfortable.

Great stay!

This cabin was very nice, clean, fully stocked kitchen. There was even salt, pepper, and coffee filters there! Hot tub was perfect and big enough for all 5 of us girls, with no touching feet. Neighbors were alot closer then expected, we could see them and hear there conversations if they were outside. Only con we had was the walk from the parking spot to the house, its kind of a steep walk down a paved side walk, but definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker to return to this cabin! We all agreed we would come again!!

Reunion

Very comfortable ,a little short on kitchen pans and towels and garbage bags. One big frying pan for cooking could have used a small one for 2 eggs. Hope they emptied the garbage can outside,it was full when we got there. We still had a good time.

Stayed 5 nights the view was serine. Private and quiet. Had a very great time. Only complaint would be the grill was sketchy at best. The stove didn't work the best very old out dated same wyth the refrigerator. Needed more cookware and tupperware containers. Knifes were horrible even bought some and left them for the next guests. All that said I would recommend this cabin and would stay there again. We even seen several deer on the property wish was very nice. If you're looking for a place for relaxation and peaceful this was definitely that!

Great Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at Brown Manor! Chelsea was very friendly and easy to get in touch with. She communicated when there was a issue with the Wi-Fi before we even knew there was a problem. The house and hot tub were clean. The towels were thick and soft, plenty of pillows on the beds, and firm, but comfortable mattresses. If you are like us and unfamiliar with the area, this property is about 15 minutes to the closest attraction and 30 minutes from the furthest attraction. That being said, if you are staying in Hocking Hills area for the hiking and sights, any where you stay (other than on the State campground or cabins) is at least a 20 minute drive. Staying here was WAY better than a hotel room. If we ever return to this area, we will book this house again! Thanks for an awesome experience as a first time Vrbo guest!
