Located in Charbonnières-les-Vieilles, in the heart of the Combrailles, this holiday rental welcomes you to a charming, renovated 1930s house, attached to the owners’ home. You’ll enjoy a fenced-in, tree-lined property as well as a private outdoor area, perfect for savouring the peace and quiet of the surrounding nature. The cottage’s location is perfect for exploring the region’s natural treasures. Just a few minutes away is the magnificent Gour de Tazenat, a volcanic crater lake renowned for the purity of its water and its soothing landscapes. Numerous hiking trails also criss-cross the surrounding area, allowing you to explore the unspoiled landscapes of the Combrailles, among hills, forests, and panoramic views typical of the Auvergne. Inside, the cottage is furnished to ensure a comfortable stay. On the ground floor, you’ll find: - a kitchen - an additional bathroom with a toilet (renovations are planned for the near future) - a living room with a fireplace (firewood provided) Upstairs: - a bedroom with two 80 beds that can be pushed together to form a 160 bed - a bedroom with a 140 bed and a 90 bed - a bathroom with a toilet There is space for one additional guest on the sofa bed in the living room. An extra bed can also be provided if needed. This cottage is ideal for a peaceful stay, to explore the natural beauty of the Combrailles, enjoy the Gour de Tazenat, or simply recharge in the countryside. Cottage open: April through November.
