Great place for a group! The lodge was clean, easy to find, and a great location. It was equipped with everything our group needed to have a great long weekend! We would come back anytime
We loved this place. Very clean and accommodating and great location, close to town and main roads but tucked away in the woods where you still feel privacy. I would come back and recommend it for any large groups! I’ll never forget the good times here!
Great place for large groups! Really enjoyed the backyard and fire pit area and the house is close to many northern Michigan destination's. Would stay again!
The rental was very clean and the kitchen was extremely well equipped for a rental! Thanks for guys a place to make great memories with our kids and grandkids!
This lodge is fantastic for family or group trips. The lodge is stocked with everything you need. Great common areas and private rooms with bathrooms. Everything is very clean and organized. This is our favorite place to stay!
We had a group of 20 family members ranging 2 to 54 from three generations. We had plenty of room for sleep, meals and entertainment. Really enjoyed our time. Great hosts, place was clean and close enough to many tourist destinations.
A great place to stay in the Indian River/Burt Lake area. Conveniently located about 25 miles from Petoskey and 30 miles from Mackinaw City. And the grandkids love the beach at the Burt Lake State Park. The Lodge is very comfortable and able to accommodate large groups. A++++++ stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms for privacy. We were able to do day trips and do all the "up north" things we like. The lodge was nice and clean. Owners replied quickly to any questions.
The Lodge was perfect for our group and I would highly recommend it. We had zero issues with it and will most likely stay here again next year for our annual golf trip.
The place was great! Spacious and clean. Great yard space for family games and kids to play. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Only drawback was no laundry machines.
Rented the property to have a large family get together. After booking I emailed asking how many table and chairs were in the large room. Was advised 5 round tables and 6 chairs for each. That isn’t what we found. After arriving and digging out the front door which is about 10 feet from the plowed parking lot and covered in over a foot of snow with no shovel in site. We found 5 round tables and 18 chairs. When I messaged the host. I was told the add. chairs were at the adjacent lodge, and I could go get what I needed and would need to take them back. The issue was that the adjacent lodge (down a separate drive ) was not plowed and was buried in snow with no way to get to. We didn’t have enough seating for the party that we had with our family and had a large amount of ppl standing. The issue that tops them all was that I had recieved bites on my left ankle the first night and thought it was a mosquito. Super itchy and would burn when itching then. Second night the opposite ankle. The day we left my brother sleeping in the room adjacent from ours also mentioned itchy bites on his ankle and my son on his foot. My sister in law saw them and said those aren’t mosquitoes it’s the dead of winter. I hadn’t even thought of anything else. Upon further investigation it appears we had received bed bug bites! We contacted VRBO after checkout and they advised the host said this wasn’t possible and declined any type of issues I’ve mentioned above.
Everything was great. Perfect accommodations for our large group of 20. We had to go fill propane tank before we could grill. But other than that the place was perfect
The lodge was overall amazing so much to do and everyone was able to relax and enjoy our time together as a family under one roof. We did share the residence with a mouse which is to be expected this time of year but he kept his distance and we kept ours :-) my favorite was the jukebox that played the classics. Plan on making this our go to for graduation celebrations over the next few years
