Lovely home in Hesselager with sauna

Spacious and cozy cottage with exposed beams that give the house a rustic and charming look. The house is nicely furnished, with a kitchen-living room from which you can see to the mezzanine. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms - in one of which you can enjoy stays in the whrilpool and sauna. The terrace and enclosed garden allow for undisturbed hours outdoors. The beautiful, child-friendly swimming beach is just a stone's throw from the house. The house is located in Klintholm Kalkgrave, where there are many hiking trails and wetlands. There is plenty of opportunity to choose between the many nature experiences on the one hand and culture and shopping on the other. If you want to stay in shape during your vacation, you can take a walk and enjoy the unique view from the height 200 meters from the house. From here you can see Langeland and Zealand in good weather. In a few minutes by car you can reach Svendborg, Nyborg and Odense, where there is plenty to do.

Great location but some challenges

When we arrived, it was obvious that the cabin hasn't been used (or cleaned) in some time. There were spiderwebs and sand in several places. The property information stated that wifi was limited to either 15 or 25 GB and we would have to pay if we used beyond that but no way for us to check our wifi usage. We were also only allowed to use up some of the space in the garbage bins which is difficult when you are a family traveling from the US to Denmark. The location was great and the backyard quiet. The rooms were small with very little room for storage.
