Welcome to The Little Green Lodge, a cozy, pet friendly, couples cabin--but we like to think the dogs are our true guests. Yours will find a fenced turf yard, bowls, bed, toys, and waste bags ready on arrival. Walkable to all things fun and outdoorsy: lake, village, trails, brewery with live music and a pet-friendly patio, Alpine Slide, free trolley stop, plus great local restaurants (many are dog friendly) and bakeries. (While we may not have many reviews on VRBO, we are a Super Host and Guest Favorite over on on another vacation rental website with over 171 5-star reviews over the last 3.5 years.)
The Property:
You’ll find thoughtful touches all over The Little Green Lodge, where comfort, connection, and canine joy come standard. Yes, it’s little. Yes, it’s green. And yes, it’s kind of perfect for couples and their four-legged third wheel(s).
There’s one small bedroom and TWO full bathrooms—because love is sharing everything except a toilet. The open-concept layout includes a roomy dining table, great for dinners and board games. The kitchen is stocked with essentials, high-end appliances, and strong “let’s stay in tonight” energy.
The living area features a wood-burning fireplace (with gas starter) and a wall-mounted Smart TV with YouTubeTV and other apps like Netflix, Apple TV, etc. Super-fast WiFi and a built-in desk in the pantry/laundry space give you a quiet spot to check email… or ignore it entirely.
Prefer analog fun? We've got board games, tabletop games, outdoor games, and adult coloring books. The bedroom has a queen bed and its own Roku TV, plus a private bathroom.
Out back, your pup will be living their best mountain life—running around the fully fenced turf yard, using the doggie door like a boss, and lounging while you grill on the propane BBQ. No mud, no worries. You’ll also find a sunny deck with Adirondack chairs—perfect for sipping morning coffee while soaking in the fresh mountain air. Just beyond, a hammock strung between the pines makes an ideal spot for an afternoon nap or reading break. There's even a 30-amp outlet in the driveway for EV or RV charging (BYO cord).
A free trolley stop is just around the corner near Lakeview Market, and you can check the real-time schedule on the Mountain Transit website. Many local attractions are easily walkable, and we even provide bikes for guest use.
Please review the house rules under “Other Details to Note” so we can help make your stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
