About this property

Cozy dreamy cottage with endless sea views

Our small house is ideally located on the coast of Fish Hoek. Close enough to easily reach all the sights in Cape Town (30 min by car, 40 min by local train), and far enough to really relax.

Fish Hoek has the best beach in Cape Town for swimming and lots of nice restaurants next to it in Kalk Bay, Simonstown and Noordhoek. Many hiking trails and outdoor activities can be found in the immediate vicinity (kite surfing, surfing, mountain biking)

We often have whales in the bay, and dolphins all year round, especially between June and November. The view extends to the mountains in Stellenbosch over the whole False Bay.

The house is simply and comfortably furnished. There is a bedroom with a double bed, balcony doors and sea view and another bedroom (open to the living room) under the roof (steps with railings - two single beds). Microwave, washing machine, kettle, toaster and iron are available. We provide all towels and bed linen. We can help you organize bikes and activities and we speak German.

There is a wood stove for winter and a grill for summer.

Important to know - to get to a house you have to go down about 35 steps, so it is not suitable for non-mobile people.

Incredible views, cute cottage!

This place exceeded my expectations for sure. The bed was comfortable, views were amazing, equipt kitchen. Also shout out to Uta. She brought me to an awesome breakfast place my first morning as I didn’t have a car. I would advise that you have a car if you stay here vs walking into town and trying to Uber to Cape Town. Fish Hoek is about a half hour out of Cape Town which is something to note as well.

Fabulous location and funky cottage.

We stayed in six places on our holiday and this was the best view. Humpback Whales seen from the balcony. Well equipped and homely. The steep steps down were a bit of a surprise. Might be worth mentioning them for anyone less able.
