Disappointing Stay

This property listing is misleading. It was pitched as being at the fancy Vines Resort, which is technically true. However, the house is nowhere near the resort. It’s alone in the middle of vineyards, completely isolated on rocky unpaved roads. You either need a car or car service to get to anything. There are no taxis. You’re stuck. Which might be OK if the house were nice, like the resort, but it is not. The construction is poor and the house is not well maintained. The pool is not maintained. The dishwasher was not hooked up. There is a coffee maker that requires pods but no pods. Bathroom doors only opened halfway because they hit the toilet (yikes). Showers wouldn’t drain. One toilet backed up into the bathroom and they couldn’t fix it. Their solution was for us to use one of the other bedrooms and bathrooms. Not acceptable. Once I complained, the property manager stopped communicating with me. Stay somewhere else.
