We absolutely loved this property. Lots of privacy. Perfect for relaxing. Well stocked with everything you need. We will definitely return for another visit.
The cabin was secluded yet accessible. The property was as advertised, allowed for a great getaway. The host did a great job communicating and made sure we were made aware of impending weather conditions. If you are looking for a little peace and quiet, this is your place.
My husband and I were looking for a quiet place to stay while our daughter was at camp. This was the perfect place. The hosts were very nice and more than accommodating. The cabin is comfortable and peaceful. A great place to relax!
Wonderful property and a great place to stay! Close to Knight of Columbus Hall in Jackson where we attended wedding reception. Also close to Cape Girardeau South County Park and downtown activities. Lovely cabin with nice finished concrete floors and beautiful fireplace. Really appreciated the outdoor seating and surrounding area.
We loved the cabin! We couldn’t hear traffic and the fireplace was so peaceful and relaxing. We never even turned on the TV, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing if what you want is relaxing. My wife and I stayed here for the total eclipse and did not see another person for our whole stay. This place sets the standard for secluded. The cabin had everything you could need for a great stay. Price was very reasonable. We could not be happier.
This is the second time we have stayed at this cabin. Each time, we had a wonderful time and great place to unwind after house hunting. Blair is a great host and meets all your needs. The cabin has everything you need and Cape Girardeau is only minutes away. Thanks again for letting us stay.
Quick weekend away fro St. Louis, my wife and wanted some quiet. This property was great but was also convenient to lots of restaurants, antiques and hiking around Cape Girardeau area. 12 mins from Trail of Tears state park about 15 from town. Quick responses from our host and easy to work with.
So much fun to visit an old girl scout camp...I grew up there back in the late 60's early 70's! Love that it has been made into a VRBO. Beautiful, clean and quiet! Loved it!

I just really loved the quiet and the overall peacefulness of it, just being able to sit on the back porch and see all the wildlife was beautiful and calming to me, was able to take get a nice little break from work and enjoy the surrounding nature of the area!!! Was really just beautiful and nice overall and we did not want to leave! Will definitely be back!!
A beautiful property, very private. There are horses that live on the property. The cabin is shaded and well maintained. My husband and I did not have cell service which we enjoyed. They do have wifi and a smart TV for any digital needs.
This is a rare gem cabin! It’s set in the serene seclusion of Mother Nature. You can watch deer pass through or listen to the crackles of your own campfire.
