We enjoyed this house right on the university property. The location was perfect for attending a conference on campus. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Lovely sitting areas and porch for watching the birds!

It was a sweet home and so well located right in the heart of campus. Nice ensuite off master and the bed was fantastic. I am a fanatic when it comes to pillows and they were fabulous. The yard is fenced so if we had brought our pup it would have been so easy. We enjoyed our stay. It was an easy walk to the chapel where our grandson’s concert took place. Thank you to our host!

Perfect stay for graduation

Cute house in a great spot on campus! Loved our stay. Owners were kind enough to let us access house briefly to put food in fridge even though it was before checkin time and house was not ready yet. Easy to connect with owners. Would stay again.

Stellar Location- central campus!

The property is in a super convenient location on campus. We were there for Parents’ weekend, so nice to have parking and walkability. House is dated, but bed was comfy and homey. We had trouble getting TV to work, but I am sure that can be resolved. Gave the cleanliness rating because it a little musty.

Great location in Sewanee!

Great location, well appointed, very cluttered, somewhat dated, and a lot of the owner's items around the house. However given the lack of options in Sewanee, it's a good choice. I had to reach out a few times to confirm my stay as there wasn't much communication after I booked my stay.

Thanks for your feedback. I have contacted VRBO about sending information to guests and verified they are responsible for doing so. Also, I now emphasize in the description that guests are renting an older home that I occupy year-round except when guests are here. My belongings are in a private locked room, and in closets and chests of drawers. I provide guests with an empty closet and a chest of drawers in one bedroom. I am available to answer any questions, which was your experience from my texts. FYI on the VRBO site is the following statement to owners: "We’ll email the guide to your guests 3 days before they check in. The welcome guide is also available in the Vrbo app. Access, check-in, and checkout instructions are released 3 days before check-in, but all other information is available as soon as they book."
