My room was clean & comfortable. The check-in process was simple & quick. The location offered numerous dining options & was close to both Boston, Lexington & Concord.
Overall, not bad at all. Good price and location, very clean room. Only issues were that it was very bright in the room at night, and the elevator is a bit sketchy. But the room itself was very nice.
This is an old facility and it shows. Clean halls and room. No concern, just an older facility.

Many people hanging on and around the property. Back door did not lock or even have a lock on it yet. There's a sign saying if you leave the store open you will be fine and escorted off the property. The only place I felt safe was when I was in my room and the door was locked

Property is a Red Roof Inn. It’s pretty terrible. I drove in to a sign that was half illuminated, which was my first warning sign. I then proceeded to stand 15 minutes at the front desk, after being greeted by a sign saying “be back soon“. I was then given a room that had a heavy odor. It was very late at night, and I just wanted to get to sleep, so I ignored it. The next day I left for work, and when I came back, I had the cleaning staff come to inspect. The woman immediately said “ oh, this is bad. Someone smoked in here. They’re not supposed to”. She was very nice and immediately moved me to a very clean room right across the hall. All in all, I was glad I was only there for two nights, and I won’t be headed back.
Red Roof Inn PlusWell, for starters, the listing doesn't indicate this is a hotel. Additionally, since we booked through VRBO, we were met with, oh contact the property directly from VRBO and then oh you need to contact the third party. A lot of run around. When we arrived at the property we noticed a homeless person in the vacant restaurant next to the property, plus several questionable looking men. When we entered we were met with a sign stating no grocery carts were permitted inside, which gave us the information we needed, but was further confirmed by the empty Trojan wrapper on the ground near the entrance. Once inside, checkin was fine, though there was one gentleman who was checking in about 5 people, including us, while another employee seemed to be hanging out in the back. Once we checked in we headed up to our room in the one functioning elevator as the other was out of service. That was a sketchy ride each time. Not sure the last time that was serviced. Once inside our room, it was evident the standards of clean were low. The room had an odor and there was still hair in the shower. The bed. Yah. The most uncomfortable nights sleep we have had in a long time and we had just slept on thr floor of the DSW airport due to our flight being cancelled. The springs were jabbing us in our backs all night. The pillows felt like they were made of paper mache. Our last night... dinner and a show. The neighbors across the hall were screaming at each other for hours.
