Beautiful cove that we enjoyed every day. We didn't love the Isla Verde area so much, but it was centrally located to many things we wanted to do. John the host was wonderful, and he was attentive to any question or issue we had.

I read a previous review that you could feel the ocean spray while standing on the balcony, and that hooked me. And indeed, you are THAT CLOSE to the ocean. We went to sleep every night to the soundtrack of the waves crashing over the seawall.The property overlooked what turned out to be a rock-protected cove, with a little "locals" beach just a 60-second walk away from our gate.If you want proximity to the water, without checking into an expensive and generic high-rise hotel, this is a great option.

It is 5 star!! The host was very accommodating, we arrived late and he waited for us to get there… he gave great advice on places to go… the back yard was its own tropical paradise with some great views of the ocean . The house was roomy and comfortable… sitting on the Maranda drinking coffee in the mornings listening to the waves was great!

The location was ideal. There’s nothing like waking up and hearing the ocean, then stepping out the door and seeing crashing waves from the porch. The area immediately outside the house is a lovely place to sit, and if you walk down just a bit, there are places to enjoy swimming and to lie in the sun. We took advantage of the restaurants within walking distance. Try to fit in Bistro Cafe if you can because it lives up to the lines you see out the door. We walked down to 787 Coffee every morning to start our day; it felt good to have “our local” coffee shop during our stay. Everything in the house was neat, clean, and stocked with the necessities. The host even has emergency aloe in case you get a little too much sun. There’s an adorable nook in the living room perfect for reading when you need to be out of the sun for a bit. The host has an adorable black cat on the premises who keeps an eye on things. Watch for Media (short for medianoche—midnight), who adds to the ambience. The host was swift, professional, and gracious in responding to our questions. This VRBO was a marvelous choice for my family.

Beautiful Isla Verde VRBO

The location was perfect overlooking the ocean. There are many places to eat close by. The host and his family were so nice and helpful. It was clean and super comfortable.

Isla verde/Punta Las Marias

Well appointed apartment near the water.

This apartment was lovely. It is so close to the water, you can feel the ocean spray from the porch. Local access to a neaby beach was very convenient and there are quite a few of food establishments in walking distance.

Perfect Spot for the Perfect Vacation

Amazing spot for a family vacation with a beautiful view of the ocean. Beach was walking distance which was a plus. I also enjoyed how conveniently located it was to food spots and any other touristy locations. John was very helpful and responsive with any questions that I had.

Family vacation

Everything we needed was close by and going to the beach was a 2 minute walk and the kids enjoyed the cove where we spent most of our time. View from the apt was awesome. Would definitely go again.

Wonderful place by Isla verde beach. Convenient to the airport and local flavors. Old San Juan, El yunque, and other major attractions on the eastern side or the island are accessible with an hours drive.

Amazing place to stay!! John have a little slice of heaven with this place to stay! He was very helpful with the area and suggestions on places to eat. I loved waking up every morning and hearing the waves and walking the beach! It was a very wonderful and memorable trip for the entire family!!

Great place !

We spent a week here with friends. John was a wonderful host, He let us check in a little early which was appreciated. He was very communicative and helpful with suggestions of where to eat etc and even brought us some of his own grown and roasted coffee ! The location was perfect right on the beach and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.
