House great - VACASA (national) not so good
Property was everything advertised in the listing. Exceptions - cleanliness, damage to the screened porch & lack of WiFi and internet).
The communication with Vacasa property management was timely and much appreciated. Frustration was the lack of follow through. Dialogue from Vacasa was pleasant and obviously scripted. The issues described above were shared (via text thread) immediately. The lack of WiFi & Internet were never addressed by a local staff. When the carbon monoxide detector started beeping, I asked that it be addressed ASAP. When it still was not addressed by 6 pm that same day, I sent a more forceful text and had a quick call from the after hours local property manager. She stated she had not received any of the information conveyed all week via text with Vacasa. She called the local maintenance staff who immediately addressed the issue while commenting that communication between the national Vacasa customer service and the local staff was flawed. He had not received any of the 4 days of complaints I communicated with what I now know is a “call center” type set up.
