The location is so convenient to walk to the marina, to town, and to the beach. The house was clean, comfortable with lots of room for other guests. I would definitely come back to this location.

Great little house in a good location. There was a nice fully fenced outdoor area for our dogs. The house was pretty nice, definitely dog-friendly. There were stains on the carpeting but the house did not smell at all. You could tell the carpets were cleaned regularly and that some stains just do not come out despite that. The decor was okay, definitely not my style (who really cares that much about decor though). There was a good amount of bedroom space overall. Just one full bath though. The second bathroom was a toilet and sink in the laundry closet. It was fine for our family of four, but would be tough if sharing the house with more people or with another family. We were given the wrong key code to get into the house when we first arrived, but that problem was solved quickly with one phone call to the rental company. I am giving such a high rating because a dog-tolerant rental with a secure fully fenced yard was the most important thing for us, and it delivered on that x 1000. If not in need of a fenced yard or dog-friendly rental, a more updated house might be prefered.

Very nice vintage home

Really enjoyed staying at this property, vintage cottage with modern amenities. Location was great, quiet one way street across from Stanley Johnston Park. North Beach and downtown South Haven were easily walkable. Plenty of rooms, nice beds and linens, loved the three season porch out front, would definitely stay here again.

This was a beautiful large home in an excellent spot overlooking the harbor. It was a short walk to our favorite coffee shop and to town as well. The house was very clean, furniture was comfortable and we felt at home there.

Native plantings, wonderful location, easy communication and dog friendly dynamic were all strong plusses for us. A few suggestions would be: check availability and cleanliness of extra blankets in each room and fix broken lamps and fans. Overall this was an excellent place to stay that we would visit again...thanks so much!

Rustic charm

Loved the house and the location. Just a block from the Marina and a block from the beach. Nice house with beautiful woodwork. Excellent amenities. Fenced yard and pet friendly!

Perfect Getaway Location, Close to Everything!

We had such an enjoyable time staying in this charming and roomy home! The beach, marina and town wete just a short walk. There is a lovely park across the street. The neighborhood is quiet. We loved the huge front porch with tbe white whicker swing. The kitchen has everything you'll need.

Lovely Long Weekend

We had a great time at Harbour View. The location is hard to beat - near the beach, bike rentals, a store with ice cream, close to downtown. The kids biked everywhere. The house was just as described and fit our family and a couple of the kids’ friends perfectly.

Our week in South Haven

The house was clean and had all the necessities! The only thing that was missing was another shower. The porch is a wonderful place to play games, drink coffee and just hangout on. I wish it was a little cleaner. The location is super close to town and we only had a short walk to the beach. There was plenty of places to sit relax inside and eat at the dinner table. We used the grill a few times and it was great to have. Over all a great place to stay for the week.

Nice short stay

The house was a good size and overall clean in the inside and in a great location. The outside patio furniture was dirty and the though the fenced in yard was great for our dogs, the yard was a bit unkept and very overgrown. The backyard neighbors are very close and we could hear them because they kept their doors open the entire time. It was a bit off putting when we could hear personal things.
