This place was not clean……. Sock from previous guests under bed…. Ants in kitchen and bedroom….. bugs in shower in caulking. No batteries in any of the bedroom remotes….. not one of the three beds has a top sheet……the walking machine leaks water on the floor when used.

Laundry facilities were available. The dryer turned on but did not spin. No Wi-Fi, and the remotes had no batteries. Pans in the kitchen had to be rewashed cause the were filthy. Other than that, the place was amazing.

Decent place for the cost, if you don’t mind the funky smell in a couple of the bedrooms. Ours smelled like dirty feet. The ceiling fans were coated in dust and the bedrooms could have been vacuumed better. Beds were comfortable however. The microwave hadn’t been cleaned in heaven knows how long and smelled funky very time we turned it on.

It felt more like walking into someone else's house than a vacation stay. There were dirty dishes in the oven and dishwasher, kool-aid in the fridge, the sheets were dirty, the floor was dirty, there was a dead possum in the yard. The host was very gracious and quick to respond to needs. Unfortunately I don't think the cleaning service showed up before our visit. We ended up leaving after a couple of hours instead of staying the night(s). An unfortunate damper on our trip to Wichita.

When we arrived in the evening (past check in time) the cleaning person was still in the middle of cleaning the property. This was not her fault as she was told that no one had a reservation for that evening. The cleaning person did all she could to make the property ready for us as quickly as she could and she is to be commended for her hospitality. My big complaint is that I was never reached out to from the owner with an apology or an attempt to have some reconciliation. Cleaning person gets 5 stars. Property Owner gets 0 stars for no communication.

This home was a comfort for our trip to Wichita! It has the nostalgic charm of an older house, yet is very well cared for, clean, and nicely decorated. The beds and living spaces were comfortable after long days, and the host added thoughtful aromatherapy touches throughout that made it feel extra welcoming. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, and the photos don’t quite capture how nice the home really is. We’d happily stay here again!

We came in town for the Eorld of Outlaws sprintcar race and needed a place to stay over night. Found a great place! Beds were very comfortable and house very clean. Didnt expect much for a one night stay but this was grea great.
