First of all, Ben was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is quaint with a nice size kitchen and the fenced porch was super helpful to keep the dogs in when the kids were swimming. The lake is beautiful, and we had fun swimming, fishing and kayaking. The property is quite spectacular and it was easy to teach our dogs to stay in the yard since the driveway is the only way out by land. We are very grateful to have found this gem of a rental and would stay again!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed your stay!
Ty so so much for your kind remarks about the property & your stay.
Should you ever be considering a return visit to the area by all means consider staying again.
Thanks Again-Ben
We enjoyed our time at this cabin so much over the summer, that we returned for a Fall trip to the area. Sadly, our trip was much shorter this time, but Ben, our host, was very accommodating, and got us in for a Columbus Day Weekend getaway. I only wish I could post the pictures we took while we were there: breathtaking! Also worth noting: the temperature dropped suddenly that weekend, but the heaters in the cabin were more than up to the task of keeping all of us very comfortable. Thanks, Ben! Looking forward to another visit soon!

So glad to have your group back & glad you got to see the beautiful fall colors!
We just wrapped up our week at the cottage. Our jaws literally dropped when we drove down the driveway and saw that the property is completely surrounded by water. The dogs were able to roam with our fear of bugging neighbors. The cottage itself was so adorable and totally equipped with everything you need. Ben, the owner was so awesome and was very prompt to respond with any questions or requests that we had. Great guy! We will definitely be back next year!

It was great to share our property with your group. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as we do & look forward to seeing you again.
This property is amazing! A well tended, highly organized cabin in a prime location on Woodbury Pond! The water was perfect for all our water fun—paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming! We brought our own paddle boards, but a canoe and kayak was available for us to use at the property. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with water views completely surrounding you and a well landscaped yard with trees and flowers. I can’t express what an amazing opportunity this was to be able to live here for the week! Ben was very helpful, and checked in during the week to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!
We were the 2nd guests to stay in this new listing
Great location and no neighbors. Very private and peaceful. The owner let us know we were only the 2nd rental and we gave him feedback. The outdoor water stuff was great - life jackets, kayaks and canoe. The loons' were out ever day on the water - a great sign the lake is in good shape. The grocery store Gowell's Shop and Save is awesome for everything. The pots and pans are very good - all of the kitchen stuff a good cook will need is in the cabin to use The outdoor gas grill is fantastic and the fenced in deck area was great for our dogs and small kids who came to visit. We will contact Ben again for a winter rental!

Thank you so much. So very glad to share our special property with you.
No, seriously...you get a private island.
Are you looking for a quiet, rustic getaway in Maine, *right* on the water with nothing but privacy and natural beauty?
Yeah...this is it. Enjoy a fully stocked, clean, rustic cabin that amply slept the four of us, and could easily do another two. Get out and explore Maine during the day with trips to nearby Portland, Brunswick, and Augusta, then return to your waterfront hideaway. Or don't, and just hang there and read on the grass by the water while listening to loons call. And bring your dogs! The owner was kind enough to allow us to bring our two dogs who loved exploring the area while we relaxed on the deck sipping drinks. Truly a great place to stay.
