Overall good experience, cabin could use a few upgrades in the bathroom, windows need some screens to keep the bugs out, new mattresses, and maybe a window a/c unit to knock the edge off during those warm august days. The wind river and the walking trail on the other side was very nice, and downtown did not disappoint! Dubois is an excellent little town!
It's very pretty here.We saw a deer 2 times right in the yard.It rained one day but smelled so good.We brought our 2 grandkids and they had alot of fun.We went to Pete's Pond and fished caught 2 good size rainbow trout. One day we went to Yellowstone Park. The drive was Beautiful all the mountains and snow still on them.Didnt see any bear. But lots of deer.Had a snowball fight. We also went to Nana's Bowling and Bakery lots to do.Lots of games. The Grandkids loved it.Just to say this town is very friendly.I would move here today if I could.
There are two cabins on this property owned by the owners and we were in the larger of the two cabins. The cabin was very cozy and totally completed the Wyoming feel! The river is nice and close to the cabin, so it was relaxing hearing the water rushing past. Our sons did catch one rainbow trout in the river, but fishing was hard due to the rocks and weeds, so each cast was a struggle to reel back in.
The cabin had everything we needed as far as amenities. We really enjoyed having the laundry option! The hosts were very accommodating and did answer quickly when questions/concerns came up.
The only thing we would add is it could use a very good cleaning. It seems as though it doesn't get a full cleaning after other renters. The floors were very dusty around each of the rooms. I believe there was a cleaning fee for this property, so just to ensure with that cost that it is getting a proper cleaning after each guest departs.
Overall, the cabin was perfect and we enjoyed the games and puzzles the hosts had left to use! We didn't get a chance to use the grill as we were out exploring a ton, but we did use the hide a bed and our kids said it was very comfy. (Side Note: we were the first to use it ever as it was still tied shut and the plastic was on the mattress, so it was very comfy for the kids) :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Wind River Cabin. Brian was very easy to communicate with, and the cabin has everything you need. Great location and right on the River.
Thanks Brian!
Loved being so close to the river! The cabin had everything we needed and more. Not too crazy about the shower head. The water came out with such force it was almost painful.... Otherwise, everything was great and cabin is close to everything, yet you feel such privacy. We'll be back.....
My family discovered the amazing town of Dubois on a cross-country road trip and decided to make it our home. We enjoy skiing, snowboarding, surfing, hiking, camping, fishing, traveling, and exploring. We look forward to sharing our unique home on the Wind River with you and all that Dubois has to offer!
