We were in Digby on a property search, we are also from Ontario. The owner was very informative and had many thoughtful suggestions. She is extremely pleasant and spent time with us and the other guests without being bothersome. She is knowledgeable about the area as well as ceveral others places throughout the world, Beautiful evening sunset views out over the Digby Bay from her rear deck, House very clean, everything one would wish for when visiting a new area.Highly recommended would certainly revisit that location again.

My husband, Len and I love hosting our lovely old house looking out to St. Mary`s Bay, Nova Scotia. We were restauranteurs from Cambridge, Ontario ( The Golden Kiwi Pub and Grill. ) Len and I have lived in New Zealand,( Len being a Kiwi), and enjoy hearing from guests, their many stories. I provide a lovely home made healthy breakfast each day- free - being a chef I love to make everything from scratch.
Please enjoy our home and very comfortable queen bed. We are more than happy to give suggests for travel and sight seeing in this area.

Why they chose this property

Our property is quite large, with a massive kitchen, separate common room for you to enjoy with games, a TV, and reading area. An inviting enclosed front porch is perfect for a cozy read or a glass of wine. Outside is a very large deck with fire pit and BBQ for your use, and has a view to St. Mary`s Bay.

We love to share our knowledge of unique spots to visit in our area, to make your holiday a special adventure. There are some great spots off the usual radar that should not be missed. Our home is an eclectic mix of old and new - full of art, and light.
