Randy and Cheryl's place was perfect for a quick, overnight stay. Communication and attention to detail were top notch. Their property is amazing. I only wish we had more time to explore. There are multiple activities on the property. Can't wait to go back!

Relaxing stay

We stayed at Randy & Cheryl’s after a day at Canton. It was just what we needed. We walked around the beautiful property, it was so peaceful. The animals were also really fun to see, we loved the two dogs, they were so sweet. We would love to stay at their property again.

My husband and I took a quick trip to Rapha’s Rest to get out of the house after losing our family dog of 11 years. We were amazed with this place and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to get away for one or ten days. This place is beautiful and so intentional. It has been prayed over, blessed, and the presence of God is felt throughout. The hosts are wonderful people and so gracious. We will definitely be back!

First of all Randy and Cheryl are wonderful! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The experience was relaxing, peaceful and renewing. We will definitely go back!

Country retreat

Great place to get out to country life with animals and plenty of places to choose from only 1 1/2 basically for the DFW metroplex. Host was spot on and our family and friends enjoyed the peace and harmony of being in safe place. The facility was built for county life extremely well. Overall great value and service thanks Randy & Cheryl.

Quiet Retreat

The property was beautiful and the hosts were super sweet! My only suggestion would be a comfy indoor place to sit in case of cold weather like we had. We only had beds to sit on which isn’t ideal with co-workers. We did tour the cabins that were separate from the main house and they had lots of nice areas to visit!

This beautiful setting exceeded our expectations! I had some questions prior to arrival and received quick responses from the hostess. Beautiful immaculate peaceful, farmhouse suite with amazing host and hostess. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to rejuvenate. Walking among the pine trees along trail and enjoying their friendly dogs as well as experiencing the Chinese massage chair added to the peaceful atmosphere. The Texas size breakfast was beautifully displayed and delicious. If we’re back in this area we will definitely return.

A quiet getaway

Perfect Find

Rapha's Rest Retreat was just what we needed after a long hot day walking around Canton, Texas. The pool was amazing and was very tranquil, even with the occasional visit from the 4-legged critters. Made it more fun really. Our hosts were so accommodating and very personable. We would love to go back and just visit with them. Can't wait to see how the property looks once their lake gets filled too. It will make for an even more relaxing and fun trip. The only thing I missed was maybe an overhead ceiling fan and a tv in the bedroom ... but it was really kind of nice without the distraction of the tv anyway! It was good for us to totally uplug for a day! :)

this is heaven

My husband and I needed to get away from the city for a short bit to refresh and renew. This beautiful home was perfect. The natural setting on acres of trees and with just enough luxury to allow us to truly relax and breath. Enjoyed the hosts, had fun hiking and just relaxing with hot tub watching sun go down. We will certainly return.
