Please note: We live in the heart of the countryside; the house is surrounded by 70 hectares of land free from all pesticides. This lends the place a great sense of peace and tranquillity. We take constant care of the property, but it is possible that at certain times of the year, such as in spring or autumn, some small insects may try to find their way into the house. We favour natural remedies for everyone’s health, but if you’re afraid of small creatures, you might want to look elsewhere ;)!

We do our utmost to ensure your stay is perfect. If anything does not meet your expectations, please let us know whilst you’re here so that we can rectify the situation as quickly as possible. This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing, countryside retreat, ideal for getting together with friends, family or as a couple. Boasting a unique panoramic view of the valley, it is surrounded by lush greenery. You can admire the abundance of local flora and fauna from the terrace.
The cottage has been recently renovated by us.
The house is surrounded by walking trails. The forest is just 30 metres from the house.

The accommodation :

The accommodation has 3 large bedrooms with views of the garden or the valley. Each bedroom is equipped with a double bed and a desk. The downstairs bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. The two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath and a separate toilet.
An extra bed for a seventh person is available in the hallway (preferably for a child). It may also be possible to accommodate an eighth person with an extra bed (on request).

A large living room is at your disposal, featuring two sofas, a dining area and a fireplace.

The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, kitchen utensils, a fridge, freezer, oven and dishwasher. You’ll find everything you need for cooking. We also provide a list of nearby restaurants and local producers.

The house faces east-west, which means it is bathed in light from morning to evening. It’s ideal for watching sunsets and stargazing over the valley.

Finally, a large terrace and garden surrounding the house offer a complete immersion in nature.

The house has been renovated using bio-based and natural paints and materials.

A foldable cot and baby equipment are available on request.

There is no railing on the terrace (access is restricted by the vegetable patch). Please note that you are responsible for supervising your children.

Guest access

The accommodation on offer is a fully self-contained house adjoining our own.

The property is situated a 10-minute drive from Castillon-la-Bataille and the banks of the Dordogne, where you’ll find all the local shops as well as an SNCF railway station. A 20-minute drive away, you can explore the picturesque village of Saint-Émilion.

Lake Blasimon, with clean water, is 5 km from the house, along with a leisure centre.

A wide range of free sporting activities are available during the summer (paddle tennis, tennis, Nordic walking, archery, etc.)
