Three generations stayed together in this wonderful house. House was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Loved the huge yard and fire pit. Cooked s’mores on several nights. Great location and convenient to town and walking trails. Would stay there again.
Gururaj is a phenomenal host. Home had just about everything you could need and if it didn’t have it he made sure it got there. The house is in a perfect location. The added surprise was that the backyard has a small slope to it that was perfect for the younger kids to go sledding on.
Perfect location in the heart of Stowe! The host Guru was extremely responsive to our questions and meeting our needs. We went with 3 families and the setup in the house is extremlely spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the firepit at night and the big yard to throw around the football with our kids. Thanks for the complimentary wine!

Thank you So much for your feedback! It was a pleasure hosting you and your group and looking forward to host your family again!!
This was the perfect place for getting multiple families together and enjoying the beauty of Stowe! Really close to downtown but private enough for our little one and dog to explore the backyard. Plenty of rooms (with comfy beds!) and space. When I had a few questions, the property manager answered immediately. If you have sensitivities to plug-in air fresheners, I would just let the host know before your trip so they can be unplugged. Would absolutely recommend this place for your next family trip.
Cleaning needs to be stepped up. Electrical light issue in kid bedroom. It flickers. Awning on back deck not working. Propane tank valve issue. Ceiling fan in master bedroom not working. Need to give check out instructions with check in. Loud vibration/hum heard in downstairs bedroom. Very disrupting. Hard to sleep. Dishes were dirty and so was the inside of dishwasher. Overall the house worked for our family.

Theresa - Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As you can notice- it was clearly mentioned in the notes to contact the owner and property manager ! we would have been glad to assist you and your family. Doesnt help any of us when these issues are bought to our attention afterwards . There was no propane valve issue upon inspection ,just needed to be turned on correctly in the right direction . The lights do not flicker - they are dimmer controlled - we just spent 1 hour trying to replicate and couldn't . The loud noise you refer to is the heat pump and that is far to the extreme end of the garage - the house has 6 bedrooms to offer as sleeping options . We do not overload information all in the same time to our guests & checkout instructions are sent a day before in the evening which only has 3 things to be done , it is not logical to bombard guests with information all at the same time. Really wish you would have reached out and any of these issues you highlight would have been catered to and resolved . It is also extremely unfortunate that all you have highlighted in the review are these issues which were merely a phone call away to resolve.
This home was absolutely perfect for a me and a group of friends to meet up in Stowe for a long weekend! Some of us skied, some hiked/snowshoed, and others just checked out the town - the location was perfect for accommodating everyone. The house was really nice, with a great kitchen where we were able to cook meals. Plenty of rooms and beds for everyone. Gururaj was really communicative and helpful. Can’t recommend staying here highly enough!
We spent a wonderful stay in the house. The property is big and very comfortable. We can't ask for more. The owner even gave us complimentary cookies and wine. Thank you very much for everything.
