About this property

Welcome to the Chatthhoochee National Forest in North Georgia Mountains where year round adventures begin. You will park your vehicle and walk almost everywhere in Downtown Helen. So much to do with shopping, dinning, golfing (mini and 18 holes in Innsbruck), tubing, gem mining, roller coaster, zip line for all ages and the list goes on!

Chalet Munich is located above a retail space and the hours of operation are 11am-9pm. The guests will have the entire upstairs floor for their privacy. Chalet Munich is not handicap friendly and stairs are needed to enter the unit. The parking is in the rear of building for one vehicle. The interior is a modern rustic with handmade wooden furniture. You have your own private balcony with a city view.

Anniversary trip

Awesome place to stay. It was very clean and comfy. We were able to walk to everything. The host are easy to communicate with and very nice. They also have the best popcorn and pretzel. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be coming back. Thanks!!

Location Location Location

I grew up in Atlanta but haven’t been to Helen since my college days which was over 20 years ago. It was a great experience. The Munich Chalet was perfect for my wife and I. It felt brand new and like we were in some Bavarian Ski lodge. The place downstairs is super cool and the location is right in the heart of Helen. The Chalet had everything we needed and is definitely our place to stay for future visits.
