Terrible host with inadequate communication and unpleasant stay
The host failed to provide any check-in details till the very last minute at night time (I had to urge him a few times plus contacting the customer service centre for help). He did not provide any details such as garbage disposal location and wifi service info properly (again, I had to message him a few times to acquire this basic information). This applies to check-out procedures as well, no guidelines were given which led to tremendous confusion. The irony is, that he and his staff under Plan A Real Estate Management emailed me to request a picture of my FOB device and threatened to remove my access to the apartment if I did not respond in 5 days. This is totally unacceptable while he has caused unnecessary anxieties to me (while I AM SUPPOSED TO BE TRAVELLING).
Unhygienic cooking utensils (oil stains), dusty floor and there are dead bugs falling from the ventilation rack constantly which land directly on my bed (a guy came and claim he had to clean the filter, but apparently he did not clear the mess he made). The host is also very rude when responding to customers' requests - for example, saying "it is your responsibility to replenish the toilet papers". I understand that house rules could vary across different locations, yet I DO NOT APPRECIATE THE ATTITUDE THAT HE GAVE ME WHEN DELIVERING THE MESSAGE. He could also have been stating the house rules clearly at the first place to avoid any misunderstandings. The poor communication and service attitude was very dissatisfying and unhelpful throughout my stay.
Lastly, I had been receiving numerous UNEXPECTED visits/knocks from random strangers at my door - during the times I was at rest. I seriously doubt the security of my stay while the host has failed to assure the undisturbed environment in the flat.
