Pristine Downtown Clayton Village Home Just Steps Away From Everything!

Enjoy the River experience at our home, River Song. This freshly renovated 3-bed, 1 bath, historic home is two blocks from the water- you can see the river from the porch, and is in the midst of the best the village has to offer. A short walk gets you to the Antique Boat Museum, the Harbor Hotel, and downtown shops, restaurants, playground, and popular venues such as the Opera House or the Farmer's Market.

After a busy day out, return to River Song and unwind with cocktails on the beautiful, comfortable, and private front porch. No worries if it’s rainy or chilly- the porch is covered and we provide blankets for your comfort.
Or, if you prefer, gather in the family room to watch TV in front of the fire. Overall, the downstairs layout and decor is modern and functional for several couples or a family. We provide a well-stocked kitchen space that provides our guests all the starter household items needed for a stay including organic spices, olive oil, bottled water in the fridge, garbage bags, dishwasher and laundry detergent pods, lint roller, iron, and a roll of paper towels. The coffee bar has regular and decaf K-cup coffee pods, tea, sugar, honey, a variety of creamers, and grab-and-go snacks.

Upstairs we took extra care to ensure each bedroom can provide what our guests need. This includes offering 600 thread-count, real cotton sheets, an AC unit, a fan, a fireplace, and all-new furniture, curtains, upscale bed frames, extra comfortable mattresses, plump pillows, door mirrors for event wardrobe changes, and crisp, modern decor.

Our bathroom was just renovated in 2022, and includes all-new everything! There is bright white stacked subway tile in the shower, a rainfall and handheld shower head, modern vanity, ionic hair dryer, and Quince Turkish cotton towels. Even our products are meant to pamper and we feature Nexxus Therappe shampoo and conditioner, Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap, Dove moisturizing body wash, Angel Soft toilet paper, and Puffs Plus tissue.

In the private back yard, there is a table and chair set, as well as a grill with propane.

This home is ready for you to walk in, unpack, and begin your vacation!

The house is so very well restored in a way that blends old and new! A perfectly quiet street super close to the river and its shops and restaurants. I have reserved numerous properties via VRBO, and this is, hands down, my favorite! Location: perfect. Walking distance from the river, shopping, and restaurants. Property itself: beautiful! Better than the pictures. The inside was immaculate, and the porch was a wonderful, comfortable spot to relax. Check in was easy and the owner was very helpful. I would recommend this property 100%!!

Perfect for an enjoyable stay in Clayton

The house is comfortably and tastefully furnished to a high standard with sufficient room to allow 6 adults to find their own space. The kitchen is well equipped with all the accessories that you could ever require to cook an enjoyable meal. The porch allows you the opportunity to enjoy the quiet neighborhood and the interior space was impeccably clean. The house is located within 2 blocks of the town center with an easy walk to the delights offered by Clayton. Should we return to Clayton, this would definitely be somewhere that would be delightful to stay there again.

Most convenient VRBO in Clayton

Rented both sides of this wonderful home. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Everything was easy and seamless. Communication through messaging was excellent. One listing did say there was a hot tub so that needs to be corrected since there is not, but other than that had a great stay! Thank you for tour kindness and prompt responses. Will look to you again for sure if we stay in Clayton. Thanks!

I’ve stayed in many rentals that look amazing in the photos and you get there to be a little disappointed with things not being as glamorous/clean. But this rental property was absolutely perfect, so so clean, so comfortable, and beautifully decorated. There is nothing that the hosts have not thought of. Honestly now that we’re back home, I find myself missing this house a little bit!! Haha
