I loved staying at the Noe Valley Garden Suite! The hosts were very accommodating & friendly. The unit was immaculately clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable. It’s located in a safe, quiet neighborhood and is walking distance to grocery stores, cute cafes, coffee shops, and all the wonderful restaurants & stores in the Noe Valley downtown area. My husband and I like to focus on positives - great bed and bedding and great shower. Honestly though, entering this place through the garage, for us, was beyond the pale. And the upstairs foot noise was unbelievable. The only windows in the space were of the outdoor area, which had been pictured as a comfortable place to enjoy a glass of wine, but instead was a neglected, unwelcoming mess. I would take a pass on this place.

Our rental is part of a shared home, and like many San Francisco houses, it is over 100 years old, so architectural differences from what some guests may be used to, as well as some sound from upstairs living areas, can be expected. During your stay, we were preparing for a family Christmas celebration, which resulted in more foot traffic than is typical, and we apologize for any disruption this may have caused. During your December stay, San Francisco experienced unusually cold weather with an active storm pattern, including heavy rain and strong winds of up to 50 mph. As a result, the outdoor garden area had fallen leaves. Based on this experience, we will be limiting future availability during the winter months to ensure the home is best suited to guests seeking a quieter stay. We appreciate the feedback and wish you well.

Lovely and comfortable Noe Valley Suite

Roberto and Sela’s garden suite was a fantastic place to stay. It was cute, clean, and comfortable, and had everything we needed for the week, including a well appointed kitchenette. We loved the backyard space, too. Transportation via the J train was easy. Sela was kind, responsive, and accommodating with late checkout requests. We would definitely recommend!

Clean, well-appointed space. Responsive host. Only issue was a bit of overhead noise from residents above us. Guessing walls are thin and perhaps little ones visiting but there was a lot of running, jumping, banging of things, small ones shouting (though they were clearly having a great time!). Just a challenge if one needed a midday nap. Design of space was very nice. Definitely worked for our purposes.
