A good bargain
The hosts were friendly and helpful and the location to Luquillo beach was beautiful. The price was very reasonable too! The downsides were, it wasn’t super clean, not terrible, just not up to par with what I typically expect from a rental. There was lots of trash and broken things all around the property. None of the three grills was usable. The kitchen was I’ll equipped to handle the number of people who could stay there. The upside to that is that there is tons of great food nearby to go out and eat. The abandoned school next door makes the neighborhood little questionable…don’t get me wrong, we rather enjoyed watching the goings on, but if you are skittish it might deter you. We REALLY enjoyed eating meals on the wonderful balcony. In all fairness, I didn’t complain to the hosts about any of this, they were very nice and probably would have responded if I did. And I would even stay here again. But to give a fair review I felt I had to be honest about the downsides here.
