Amazing beach house inside Atami private complex. A 10 to 15 min walk inside the complex to get to the beach. The house is beautiful and well decorated. Also, well taken care of. Pets allowed too. Enjoy the spacious pool & morning walks in the area.

BAD MANAGEMENT

THEY DID A DOUBLE BOOKING AND I FOUNDED OUT ON MY WAY TO THE PLACE, WHEN I ASKED THE OWNER FOR ADDRESS DETAILS AND THAT'S HOW I FOUNDED OUT, AND HE TOLD ME YOU CAN'T COME TO THE PROPERTY BECAUSE SOMEONE IS THERE ALREADY. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THEY DIDN'T KNOW., HE SENT ME AN EMAIL 2 DAYS BEFORE OUR TRIP TO WELCOME US, PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE

Great stay

The property itself is peaceful and beautiful. The pool is great. There was an iguana over the front gate to the property several times; We think he lives there and that was a cool experience. A lot of birds in the trees. There is a little store down the street, maybe just a five minute walk, that we didn't realize was there until our last day there. The closest restaurant is Atami Restaurant and that walk gets long fast. I recommend considering renting a car if you stay; that is one of our regrets, because we didn't rent one. We tried to use Uber a few times but we were only successful once out of probably 25 times. The distance to El Tunco and El Zonte is not far, but you won't be able to walk it. We would just walk to the Atami Resort and ask them to call a taxi, which worked every time. Rides were between 8 and 15 dollars. There is beach access once you arrive at the Atami Resort and it has a couple places to eat and drink. The beach is good for surfing and swimming. Overall, we loved the house and we would stay again, but next time we would rent a car so we didn't have to walk so much and rely on taxis.

Beautiful house close to nice beaches

We had a lovely stay at Niels' place. The house is beautiful with open doors/windows and a really lovely garden and outside area. The neighborhood is also close to several nice beaches (a few minutes drive). The hosts were very communicative. The house has 2 entrances and the back entrance was a bit hard to find at first, so just make sure you ask for clear directions before you arrive/check-in. Overall, great stay - highly recommend!
