Private: pergola, terrace (30 m2), garden furniture, public car park at 250 m, extra. Shop 20 m, grocery, restaurant, bar 50 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop 20 m, railway station "Sorrento" 15 km, ferry "Positano" 600 m, sandy beach "Spiaggia Grande", diving center 600 m. Nearby attractions: Amalfi 20 km, Sorrento 15 km, Napoli 70 km, Capri, Ischia, Napoli 70 km. Hiking paths: Path of the Gods 2 km. Please note: car not advisable. Huge patio

The best part of this unit is the patio, it’s right by the street so you don’t have to carry bags very far and it’s about middle of the hill. The pizza place steps away is amazing. Checkin was a mess as the previous tenant didn’t leave the key in the box and the housecleaner was already there but didn’t replace the key so we spent 1.5 hours in the hot sun with all our bags waiting first for them to answer the multiple emails and calls before someone answer and they were 50 minutes away but someone showed eventually showed up to unlock the door. Everything in this unit is very dated, the lower floor has a very mildew musk that I did not want my kids to sleep in that bedroom. The master bedroom is by the road and is very noisy. The washing machine does not spin anything dry. The beds and linens just sealed very old. There is no curtain in the master shower so you just get the entire bathroom wet. There is no AC and due to position of the unit no breeze. We left on the second day to find better accommodations

Amazing views, functional but somewhat tired apartment

The patio is huge and has some of the best views in Positano. There is a table and four chairs to dine outside and there is a lounge chair, and a built in bench as well. There is also a folding drying rack. The patio is the highlight of the apartment. The furniture needs updating and the home is somewhat musty. This probably would have been better if we opened the windows, but when we were there (mid June) there were mosquitoes so we had to keep the windows shut. We also kept the shutters closed and the apartment stayed cool enough that we didn’t really miss AC. The upstairs bedroom shares a wall with the main road and a passageway and is really loud at night, so bring earplugs or a sound machine. Even though we kept the windows shut we all still got chomped by mosquitoes—especially after the first night. That next morning I killed at least 20 mosquitoes. I’m guessing the people that stayed before us weren’t very careful about the windows. The downstairs bathroom was really musty and made the whole downstairs feel damp and mildewy. The oven was out of order (which we didn’t need), but the washing machine was also not working (it would turn on and water came out, but at the end of the cycle parts of our clothes were still dry and nothing had been cleaned). The range is a gas range that you have to light with a lighter. It’s ~330 steps up from the port/beach area, but you can access the apartment from the road if you come in that way.

La posizione vicina al centro, al market e al rent scooter lo rende molto comodo. I parcheggi per le auto sono leggermente più distanti ma facilmente raggiungibile

Italian Charm, Breathtaking Balcony

This place was the true Italian experience. It was a large space, with an outstanding balcony, and in a great location. You really can’t get any better than this Italian charm. Would definitely stay again.
