Beautiful property close, secluded but convenient to local amenities and activities. Plenty ofSpace and host was a great communicator. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
We had a great long weekend at King Bear Cabin ! The house and grounds were very clean and Brent's rental and communication process was very organized.
The cabin is clean, has beautiful decoration and is equipped with all the supplies you need during your stay. The views are beautiful and the hosts maintain constant communication that gives you confidence and makes you feel at home.
We had an amazing time in this house, we were close enough to go to several small towns to shop but far enough to enjoy a private vacation. The property owners were absolutely amazing to talk to and the home was gorgeous. We felt right at home there. This is the perfect place to stay for a vacation!
Enjoyed every day of our stay. After spending our days white water rafting, visiting a distillery, hiking in the hills, and checking out the local breweries and restaurants, we always found a relaxing and welcoming house ready for us. Everything looked exactly like the photos.
Especially enjoyed having a drink in the evening on the deck overlooking the mountain views.

Very pretty with a beautiful view, there were some serious concerns that made our experience unsettling. We were never informed that the property has issues with power and electricity. During our stay, the power went out unexpectedly as it was only lightly raining in the middle of the night. There were no candles or flashlights provided anywhere on the property, which made the situation even more stressful. Thankfully we packed a flashlight. This became a medical emergency for us, as my son relies on a breathing machine at night. When the power went out, we had to rush him to the ER, which was a very scary and overwhelming experience. What made things even more unsettling was that there were numerous cameras around the cabin, and when the power went out, the cameras remained on. Additionally, when we drove down to the gate to leave, the gate still had power, and nearby homes just minutes away also had electricity. That raised serious concerns for us.Overall, while the cabin itself is beautiful, the lack of transparency about the power issues and the circumstances we experienced made our stay feel unsafe and frightening.
We loved this home! Clean, organized and great for our group. We went for white water rafting, zip lining and hiking, but found time to go to a couple of towns close by for dinner. The hosts go above and beyond providing everything you need. Highly recommend this house!

Thank you for you Penny for your nice review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. We hope that you will come back and visit us soon!
Our stay was great. The only downfall was the driveway we brought our motorcycles and the driveway was gravel. It was difficult to get the bikes up the driveway. If it was possible we would have left the bike trailer and bikes at the bottom by the gate. But other then then that our stay was great. We had a few hiccups with paper products but Brent took care of that for us.
Places we would suggest for your stay is hitting up McCaysville and Blue Ridge GA. The mexican restaurant
El Rio was good and Twisted Tomato had good pizza. The beach we went to was Vogel State Park. It was beautiful there and it is a Spring feed lake. (one of the locals told us that).
Buck Bald Brewery had a bingo night so we had a fun time playing. We also hit The Tail of the Dragon. Merciers Orchard and Winery was a great place to go to. Get the slushie wine drinks.
