We loved this unit and this amazing property. We wanted to be close to the city of Galveston, as opposed to being out on the west end of the island. We were blessed with a gorgeous Galveston weekend and the view was spectacular from this top floor unit. The beds were very comfortable, the appliances worked great and the kitchen was well-stocked. The lobby staff were kind, the workout room was fantastic and the pools (indoor and outdoor) are wonderful.Just two little things to keep in mind when planning for your stay:1. As stated in the rental details, the unit offers starter supplies. You might need to bring or purchase additional shampoo, dishwashing tablets and TP for your stay. 2. We took note of a review that mentioned that the bedspread/blanket were light weight. We found that we did need the blankets we brought, though we certainly acknowledge that people's temperature comfort level can vary. From playing mahjong, watching playoff football and doing some light meal prep in the unit, we found Pelican Pass to be a great place to stay and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great family getaway

We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the condo and the entire place! Even though the main outdoor pool was closed due to hurricane damage, there was plenty to do between the game/arcade room, the indoor pool, the lazy river, the beach, and the town! We love diamond beach and plan to book this same room again next year.

The condo was very clean. The view and the amenities were amazing! Location is perfect. The only thing we would like to be changed is the bedding. They say to bring extra blankets but the ONLY blanket for the main bedroom was a stained comforter that was in the back of the closet. We were not prepared to have only sheets. The pullout couch in the living room only has sheets provided. It is difficult to pack your own bedding. The other thing to be aware of is that the kitchen does lack some essential items that those of us who cook often for our family find necessary. The pools were amazing, though the slide is gone which was a disappointment. There was construction happening that we did not know about, not in the main building but a new extension building. Overall though it is a great place!
