The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave used beds unmade. Clean pots and pans. Sign out of streaming service
Make sure all trash and any food goes in to a garbage bag before discarding. If departing on Thursday and you're able to, please wheel the trash can to the curb.
Put away yard toys and anything left at the dock needs to be brought back to house or risk blowing in lake.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
$500 fee if house smoked/vaped indoors. Smoking outdoors. Dispose cigarette butts properly. Do not leave items at dock. Guest will replace, if needed
Dog can't be left alone if dog has separation anxiety. Clean up poop. $200 per if pet brought w o authorization. $100 for 1, $75 for 2nd. MAX 2 dogs

We needed a nice place while we were in town for a memorial service and Doc Holiday did us right. Liz is an excellent host. The place was very clean and well stocked with a fenced in yard. Being on the lake was such an extra bonus, we just really enjoyed our stay so much. We plan to come back in the summer for some lake adventures for sure!!!

What a wonderful vacation!!!!! This beautiful house was more than I expected! It was so clean and perfect for our getaway! Liz is a fantastic host! The lake view is incredible! We have stayed at other locations at Lake Grandbury and none have compared to this fabulous getaway! If you are looking for pet friendly, clean, and just everything perfect this is the place to stay! Just as pictured. We spent so much time just enjoying the dock and the swing. Our dog was in heaven with the completely fenced in yard, and enjoyed being on the dock.House was very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Howdy y'all! I am a born and raised Texas girl who grew up stomping around Fort Worth and moved to the outskirts of Granbury in our home on the Brazos in 2020.
I married my high school sweetheart and together we have 2 girls. I love the outdoors. From kayaking the Brazos, to enjoying music festivals, to savoring BBQ on the porch with loved ones. I also enjoy antiquing and finding those unique finds, so anytime I can go to a trade day, I'll go. When I am with my family, we love our pizza/movie nights where we order a big 'ol NY style pizza and cuddle to some good hearted classics.

Why they chose this property

This home boasts beautiful views inside and out! It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the NE end of Granbury Square. The living area is spacious and open and has an oversized couch and 3 large picture windows that overlook the expansion of Lake Granbury. The owner has put extraordinary thought into this gorgeous home-from cozy linens on the bed, beach towels for guests, to a Fully Stocked Kitchen! The fenced yard is also large and well groomed. It has a stone sidewalk that winds down to the private boat dock, which is available for guest's use to keep your own boat or fish from.

What makes this property unique

The sunsets are breathtaking! There is a swing down at the dock where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. If you're feeling adventurous, you can jump right on in Lake Granbury from the dock as well.
For boat enthusiasts, there is a boat launch to use that is in the neighborhood and the property is located at the deep part of the lake, so no Canals!!
The lawn is also easy to get around in for those w mobility concerns and the yard is fully fenced for those traveling with their pups.
