A warm country home featuring a manicured landscape; a vacation oasis without leaving the property! A peaceful magical place where magnificent cottonwood trees sway along the pristine waters of Hyalite Creek which flows diagonally through the meadows to grace your morning cup of coffee or the evening stars!

Just 4 miles west of Bozeman, the home is secluded yet convenient with lots of Montana charm offering spectacular Bridger Mountain views, wildlife, meadows, a creek, and a pond.
The home's central location in the valley allows access to attractions in every direction. Big Sky Ski Resort, Moonlight Basin Resort, and Bridger Bowl Ski Resort are all equal distances from this home offering both winter and summer fun. Yellowstone National Park is located 1.5 hours away.

One mile from the home there are outdoor sports rental companies, Bozeman Hot Springs, Jump Time Trampoline Fun, and several restaurants, bars, and distillery choices.
Bozeman is a university town that offers many cultural, sporting, and musical experiences throughout the year.

There were maintenance people at the property almost every day. Lawn mowing, tree removal, and other smaller projects as well. Property and house are well maintained. No air conditioning, fans and open windows helped to keep things cool. Teresa was very easy to talk to. Nice place!

Fantastic Stay Yet Again!

This is our second trip at the ranch and just as before it was perfect! The staff is very pleasant and willing to give you some tasty tips on where the locals go! Great secluded location close to downtown and Big Sky! Will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in town!

Winter wonderland

Our family had the best time at this house! So cozy and wonderful. We went in March and had a snow storm and it was perfect! My kids loved the yard, it was great for snowball fights. Close to downtown Bozeman and an easy drive to Yellowstone and big sky. Will def book again!!!

A ranch just outside the city did not disappoint

We rented the three bedroom ranch so we could get away from Michigan and our kids who live local could do a staycation with us. The Ranch was big with lots of seating and so well stocked for a family vacation. We cooked home many nights. We used hot tub and walked grounds daily. The creek ran strong after some rain and snow high up in mountains. Short drive to canyons and mountains. The bedding was so soft and comfy. We replaced some of the consumables as we are big cleaners. Property owner was incredibly nice. We felt cared for and safe in this property. We would suggest you stay here too.

Everything was described. The only problem we had was no information about the gates to the property. We didn't know the gates weren't unlocked in the early mornings. We figured it out, there is a key on the keyring to a back gate (which we didn't know existed until then.) Overall a very comfortable place to stay. The kitchen has everything you need, just add your groceries.

Great Property

The property is good but communication with the owner/manager was terrible. Right up to check in, the only time I heard from her was for payment. She did not respond to any messages and we finally were told by someone in the wedding party that the door would be open. Terrible communication. Won’t be working with her again.

The address in the property listing is not correct, look for signs for the Rockin' TJ Ranch. The listing says there's an event space (and office) on site that's available, and you will definitely hear and see other people using it! There were 2 weddings during our 7-day stay. You will definitely hear and see the many employees and staff come and go from the office which is the garage attached to the house, and not just while the events are occurring. Landscapers, maintenance folks, potential clients and other various people were right outside the front window and door almost every day. An obsessive amount of daily watering made walking in the well maintained and landscaped property a bit challenging and prohibitive, though not impossible. It is a gorgeous property and area, particularly at night if there isn't an event going on. Property was clean, spacious, cozy and kitchen is well stocked and appointed. If the price was based solely on the quality of the remodel work it would be grossly overpriced. Tacky and sub par work, but that's the unfortunate nature of rental properties. Good location for launching out to many adventures in the area, though hanging out with Cowboy and Spook on the porch was one of our favorites LOL. While it does say the owner is on site in the listing, wish VRBO actually stood behind their claim of "When you stay at a Vrbo, you always have the whole place to yourself. No hosts in sight." Not true for this property.

We stayed while visiting our son at MSU. Great location on a beautiful property. Teresa was very responsive. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room indoors and out. Will stay again!

Beautiful property, great house

The house was the perfect size for our family getaway to Bozeman. It had plenty of space, big kitchen and dining area and several seating areas around the house. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. There was a wedding there one night so there was a little noise but totally bearable. And it was fun to see everyone having a great time. The location is close to downtown Bozeman where there is shopping, restaurants, parks and breweries. Theresa the host was great and always readily available for anything we needed!

Wonderful cozy house in beautiful location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was roomy and had everything we needed. Stocked kitchen, cozy beds, great hot tub, and a back room for my husband to work from. Wifi was good. Location was great, not too far from town, and in a beautiful location., with great views, and deer. Wonderful walking trail from the property next to the stream. Teresa was great, would definitely stay again.

Cozy home on a beautiful property!

We stayed here for a week. Theresa was a fabulous hostess! There was an office nearby if we had any issues. The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and well kept. The property it sits on is beautiful and there's a walking trail nearby that goes along a stream.We will definitely stay again!

What an amazing property!!! So so beautiful, calm and comforting. We had an amazing time at "Rocken TJ Ranch". The grounds were amazing and our host Teresa was so nice and accommodating for any and all needs and she was easily reachable. We would stay here again for sure. The beds were comfortable and the house was homey. Definitely will come back again.

Rockin' TJ Ranch in Bozeman, MT

Our stay at the Rockin' TJ Ranch in Bozeman, MT was spectacular from the moment we arrived until check out. We were pleasantly surprised that the house and property acceded our expectations. It was so much more beautiful than the pictures could even capture. The grounds were immaculately kept and beyond beautiful. The house was just perfect for our family, very comfortable, and lots of things to see and do on the property during our stay. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to see around Bozeman, and close enough to drive to Yellowstone for a day trip. The host was so nice throughout our stay. She was very easy to reach if we had questions, let us know cool places to see, but allowed us our privacy during our stay. Beautiful property

Some updating could be done in the kitchen, maybe new more modern small appliances. One type of flooring in main living , kitchen and dining would modernize as well. The hot tub was wonderful and clean. The clothes washer had to be replaced while we were there and I appreciated that he took care of that so swiftly. Overall, the property and our wedding event was perfect!!!!

Wonderful!

We stayed at this cabin November 13th - November 20th, 2019. Check in was very laid back and relaxed. The cabin is situated on property used for various glamorous events and Teresa has done an amazing job making this place feel like your vary own private resort with all the special little touches around the property. We enjoyed morning walks every day on the property and every day we found a new little vignette that she had set up. Whether it was one of the pretty archways used for weddings, various swings you would find, or seating areas, everywhere you looked it was perfectly picturesque! The cabin was true to the pictures shown on VRBO, however the front entry to the kitchen and living room areas are hardwood floors NOT white carpet anymore. I appreciated this update because I was worried about accidentally tracking in stuff from outside. The only white carpeted areas are the hallway to the bedrooms and the bedrooms themselves. Bedrooms were nice and spacious, plenty of storage room for all of your things! The cabin is currently very well stocked! Spices, condiments, hair products (she even had hairdryers in BOTH bathrooms! Ladies, you know how nice that is!) It has some quirks, but nothing out of the ordinary for a well used home. Plus this is a cabin, and what cabin doesn't have its cute little quirks?! We were perfectly comfortable the entire time! TV was tricky to figure out at first, but if you can operate a smart phone you can figure it out in 10 mins. Hot tub was amazing! Extremely clean and very big. It was so much fun to relax and stargaze while taking a soak. The office for her business is located in the attached garage, but it didn't bother us at all. Actually, it was handy having her and a few of her staff close by now and then to answer questions we had. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. What she has done with this property and how she operates her business is extremely impressive. 100% guarantee we will be back! Thank you again Teresa!

Beautiful setting and wonderful accommodations!

We rented this charming and well equipped house for 6 family members who were attending our daughter’s wedding at the Rocking TJ Ranch. Everything was perfect! My family loved staying in the house and found the beds very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. They also made good use of the awesome hot tub on back porch as well as the bikes available to renters. Teresa keeps the property spotless and she is a lovely, friendly and very helpful person. She gave everyone total privacy but could easily be reached if she were needed. The house sits near beautiful aspen trees and very close to Hyalite creek which runs through the property. Peaceful meadows and gorgeous views of the Bridger Mountains make this spot extra special. And, while you have peace and quiet in a country setting, the heart of downtown Bozeman is only a short drive away ( about 4 Miles and a straight shot down Huffine which turns into Main Street ) . We highly recommend this lovely house and beautiful property and send thanks to Teresa for making our daughter’s wedding week such s special one in every way!

Montana is my home. I grew up in Kalispell Montana, Glacier Park country. Summer and winter outdoor recreation is second nature: horseback riding, hiking, camping, biking, river and lake water sports, alpine and nordic skiing, sledding, ice skating and snowmobiling. I moved to Bozeman to attend college and found more sunshine and all my favorite sports and night life right here and stayed. I am a mother of two and now a grandmother. I have worked hard for what I have built and am proud to offer my home to you.

Why they chose this property

I love this house and property! The view is spectacular and the creek front is envied by all. The house is warm and friendly. It is a peaceful haven not allowed by many homes this close to town. I also owned a landscaping company for 28 years and this property is a now a reflection of that skill.The meadows and lawns are like a golf courses. As well with my detailed nature, the house is clean and organized. You will find just about everything you need here.

The transformation of this property has been a labor of love and my hope is to share it with you for your vacation!
