This was my 3rd stay at John's place. I so appreciate this rental and John is a great host - very welcoming to me and my little dog. I walked to several nearby restaurants (Bubble Room, Green Flash, RCOtters) and to McCarthy's Marina to catch 2 cruises during my stay - and to the Captiva farmers market. I had a great week. It is so good to see Captiva rebuilding and to be able to support the businesses there who have fought so successfully to reopen. I wasn't ready to leave and can't wait to return next Spring!

Another amazing stay here! The location is the best ever, close to everything, especially the beautiful beach! Highly recommend staying here on Captiva. We can't wait to stay again!

Great space, great beach

We were so very happy with this clean, quiet place. Couldn’t ask for a better location, everything on Captiva within walking distance. So much wildlife so close, and the beach was so peaceful and pristine. Thanks for such a great stay!

Captiva Apartment

The apartment is perfect for a short beach stay. It was very clean and well kept and just a short walk to the beach. The mattress was very firm, but we seemed to have adjusted and slept well. John was a wonderful host.

Wonderful Captiva Island

Everything was as advertised. John is an excellent host. We really enjoyed our time in Captiva Island. Apartment was clean and beach was indeed steps away. Restaurants near by within walking distance. Don't forget your bug spray!!! Lots of bugs on the island at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful islands. Great vacation place.

This was my second time at this property with my dog and I am so glad to have it available again after the storms. This place is perfect for me. I love being able to walk to nearby marinas, restaurants, stores, and of course the beach. John is a great host. I will be back!

Great location!

I can’t say enough about the location of this property! It is very close to the beach and very close to town as well as The Green Flash and Jensens‘s if you plan on doing any fishing charters. John, the owner, is super nice and made us feel welcome. I will definitely be going back!

Captiva Paradise on Chapin Lane

This 2 bedroom apartment has all the comforts of home and is just steps away from the beach. Its location is close to the island store, great restaurants and check in was so easy. It was our pleasure to meet John (the owner) and we would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful week on Captiva!

Captiva getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the Chapin Lane apartment. It was perfect for the 2 of us and within walking distance to many attractions. Short walk to the beach, although the weather didn’t cooperate for the majority of the week.

Great location!

Great location for a fair price! The home was clean, comfortable and looks just like it does in the pictures. It is located on a quiet street that is close to just about everything on Captiva Island. The owner was quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning!

Camp Captiva

Excellent location- walk to everything less than 10 minutes. Beach only a couple of minutes- as close as you can get without being beachfront. Very quiet! No complaints- would book again.

Great As Always

My beloved and I are repeaters. The location is perfect, short walks to the gulf/intercoastal waters. John is always a gracious host. You can’t beat this Captiva location that is affordable and where you can bring your dog.
