Weekend away

The house was under repair from an infestation that caused flying insects all throughout the place. The ceiling lights were full of bugs and half of the lights were not operating. The property manager sent texts two days in a row about people repairing the house and nobody showed up.

I am sorry about the experience you. The owner had to get another contract because the lack of response from the other contractors.

So disappointed/Did not stay

We actually were only at the property a few hours. We had trouble with the door code provided. Manager was responsive and overrode code so we could enter. Upon entry we found a placard from local utility company saying "gas disconnected due to non-payment". No hot water and no heat from furnace. Also unable to lock property-- code still not working. We did not stay due to property feeling inhospitable as it was. We asked for refund and manager did give a partial refund. Would have loved a full refund as we had to find alternative lodging. Very disappointed in cleanliness of property and that property was not in good working order for renters. Disappointed also because property location was perfect for our needs.

I am sorry about your experience, however, please do not issue that did not affect you. As you had gas and lights when you arrived. It was never a mentioned to management that there were bugs in the light fixtures. The issue with flying insects were taken care of. Owner and Management was unaware as to the origin of the insects. House was cleaned before your stay
