Everything was great. Condo was comfortable, well maintained and well stocked. Ideal location with ski in and ski out. Pool and hot tubs are close by. I recommend staying here.
Walking distance to ski lifts. Ski rental place next door. Purchase lift tickets 500 feet away. Pizza place 2 mins away. Great location. I carried my wife’s and kids skis daily to the lift.
We had a great time staying at Barbara's condo in Powderhorn Lodge. It was a really nice place, clean, comfortable and in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
Can’t find a better location at Solitide! A 2 min walk to the lifts with the Club next door and restaurants around the corner. More than enough space for the 3 of us with a very well stocked kitchen. Was perfect for our long weekend trip!
This was our first time in Utah and a ski in/ski out condo. The condo was very clean and well stocked. Close to lifts, and all of Solitudes amenities. Barbara was a great host sending us a lot of information prior to getting there. Highly recommend this condo.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for Solitude, with easy ski in and ski out. The proximity to Brighton was also great, and it was very easy to get there. The host was informative and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this condo!
Very nice Condo! Close to Apex Express ski lift(5 min walk). Condo was centrally located to restaurants, ski shops, bars. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our party of 6. Kitchen well stocked and furnishings were nice. Would definitely use this place again.
We had a very Nice stay for over a week at Solitude. Barbara was a great host, with excellent directions making check in/out very easy. Very nicely appointed unit. Thank you!
Great location, condo was spacious, well stocked and extremely comfortable for our family of 5. Communication with property manager was awesome - she gave us tons of helpful info about logistics, transportation, grocery stores, etc. Process was seamless :)
We are so happy we chose this place to stay. Was very easy process and perfect location for skiing. We did grocery pick up from Smiths grocery at bottom of mountain and was super easy and accurate. Did a snowmobile trip with Backcountry that was so fun. Ski rentals and restaurants in the village were so convenient and everyone was so nice, food was all excellent as well. Would love to come back again. Thanks Barbara for all your information and all the questions you helped with
Was perfect for two adults and four kids ages 12-18. Everyone had a bed (including one sleeping on LR pullout) and the kitchen/LR/dining area was big enough for us all for apres and dinners. Location on village center can’t be beat. Short walk to lifts and with all the snow when we were there, this unit was almost true “ski in”. The ski locker provided fit five sets of skis but not poles. Had to communicate with owner only once and she was super responsive. We’ll look to stay here again on next trip to Solitude.
We had an great time at the condo. Barbara was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to help us. She came to the condo on New Years Day to fix a toilet when she could not get a plumber until the next day. The condo is bigger than the pictures show and was plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teenagers. Also the Powderhorn hot tub is a real find - many nights had to ourselves after a ski day and just right down the stairs on the 1st floor. Kitchen is also very well equipped. We picked up groceries at Smith's 20 minutes away and cooked many meals at the condo. All was very easy and made for a great ski vacation.
Barbara’s unit had everything we needed and was well maintained, and clean. The Powderhorn is a very short walk to the lifts, so coming in to eat lunch in the condo was super convenient. Barbara was also very responsive to any questions we had and really contributed to us having a great vacation (thank you!)
Also, for anyone considering Solitude versus another mountain, you really can’t beat Solitude. While smaller than some other options, the lift lines are shorter than everywhere else. The trails have fewer people. Powder does not get tracked out nearly as fast. And there is amazing terrain of all types. Whenever I go somewhere else I think to myself, “This isn’t as good as Solitude.”
Everything was good about this condominium except for a couple of things.... I hadn't read the listing carefully enough to know that there was no washer/dryer in it, and when I asked if I could get some extra towels, the owner said "no." Plus, we had access to the Solitude Club, which was great, but the club wouldn't allow us to take towels to our Powderhorn hot tub. That didn't seem fair (I certainly would have returned them to the club.) The kitchen was well outfitted and even had a nice selection of spices, vinegar, oil, Pam, and the like. Solitude Village is lovely and the mountains were cool and delightful!
We are grateful to have stayed at property
This condo is ideal for a fun ski vacation. As a group of 5 - it was spacious and comfortable. Everything is self contained - there is a garage with parking, easy baggage and grocery unloading :), ski locker on first floor, and close to base of mountain.
The owner is receptive and quick to be in communication when you have a question, for which I am thankful. I confidently recommend this property!
