Beautiful oceanfront condo in Wild Dunes. This condo is very spacious and thoughtfully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a balcony with incredible views of the community pool and the ocean just off the living room and master bedroom, YouTube TV streaming service is available on all TVs.
Linens included. No smoking. No pets.

**ATTENTION GUESTS: During high tide there is minimal beach available for beach walking or lounging. Some neighboring complexes may have sand bags out to protect their dunes from erosion. Please do not attempt to walk on the dunes or sand bags.**

Was sent away after using a code to get inside because I didn’t have a bracelet. Was told guests give out the code and needed a bracelet to prove we stayed there. Seems like a lot of hassel to paying guests for something that can’t be a real problem.

It was extremely relaxing for us and we highly recommend it! The only downside is that the AC unit seemed to be older and it felt more like a hotel unit when it came off and on...but it cooled the condo wonderfully, just more of a noise nuisance than anything else. Otherwise, we loved it!!

Lovely stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely, comfortable condo that my family absolutely enjoyed. We had perfect summer weather, frolicked on the beach, enjoyed the pool area. I sat on the balcony overlookng the Atlantic and had coffee each morning, watching pelicans and other sea birds fly past. This was a perfect spot for our staycation. The kitchen was well equipped and met our needs. We had only a couple of small criticisms. The floors weren't properly cleaned when we moved in. And I would have liked a grab bar in the master bathroom's shower. The master bathroom has been beautifully renovated but I was worried each time I stepped out of the shower with wet feet. The other two bathrooms had not been updated but were adequate.

However, the condo is outdated and needs a good deep cleaning. I was unable to feel comfortable because the condo was clean on the surface but not thoroughly cleaned.

This unit is conveniently located close to the beach and a healthy walk from the amenities (tennis, pickleball, restaurants). For a few short days it was fine. The unit does need some updating and unlike other rentals we've had in Wild Dunes, there were no basics provided like 1-2 pellets for the dishwasher, etc.

Reviewer Comments: Whenever we are planning a trip to the beach, we always look through the reviews from prior guests so I want to be very honest about our experience staying at Shipwatch A 105. I'll begin with the pros: There is a wonderful view of the beach from the living room and primary bedroom and it was great having an easy walk to get to the beach without having to go up and down stairs. The bed in the primary was very comfortable and the decor throughout the unit was beachy and cheerful. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. The blinds were so easy to use and kept the bright light out in the early mornings. Shipwatch is in a great location in Wild Dunes, and it's an easy walk down to the shops and restaurants. Cons: All of the appliances are very old and noisy. The dryer would turn on but it took forever to dry the clothes and towels. The burners on the stove were very questionable. We had to do a little repair on a few to get pots to sit correctly on them. The beds in the other two bedrooms were very uncomfortable. The dated drawer and cabinet hardware in the primary bathroom sticks out way too far. I cut my leg on one of them. Wifi is spotty inside the unit and we couldn't make calls unless we went outside. Overall, we are giving a pretty good rating because of the pretty view and easy access to the beach. For the money, this is a nice condo with a lot to offer. The owners should really consider investing in nice, new appliances. It would make a world of difference!

Gorgeous view!Condo could use some updates, but overall we really enjoyed it!!We have been renting from Island Realty for decades. My only complaint would be check-in time has changed. It is now between 4:00-5:30, but check out time is still 10:00am. If we aren’t out by 10:00, I read that we would be charged. As much as it is to rent properties, especially with so many added fees, the least IR can do is have the property ready by 4:00 pm at the latest! It should really be ready by 3:00.
