Clean and comfortable cabin, with a nice communal outdoor space. Host lit a fire in the firepit for the evening. Close to Cape Charles and Kiptopeke park.
The Fisherman Cottage had all that we needed, all in perfect condition. Tiny Livin' offers privacy and a delightful change from the sameness of hotels and motels. Shops, restaurants, and the beach that drew us to Cape Charles are only a few minutes away, and there's a supermarket nearby if we prefer to avoid the cars, golf carts, and restaurant wait times. We'll be back! Eric & G
We booked this tiny house for a spontaneous night away to do some fishing in Cape Charles. The property and house were absolutely adorable and the accommodations were exactly what we needed for a weekend away. The property had an amazing bonfire pit and grill if you don’t want to eat out, and there’s plenty of space with a fence and grassy areas if you’re traveling with a dog. The owners were extremely communicative and even went to the trouble of mailing us back something we left. We would absolutely stay at the “Fisherman’s” cottage again, or another “Tiny Livin’” house on the property!
We celebrated our anniversary in Cape Charles for a week and stayed in the “Fisherman” unit. The property and home itself were well maintained and cared for. We enjoyed tiny livin for the week and would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone marking a trip to the eastern shore. It may not be directly in the heart of Cape Charles like other properties but that is completely fine, the “community” feel definitely makes up for it. Eric & Sylvia we’re excellent people as well. I really enjoyed talking with them and getting to know more about the property as well. This is definitely an excellent place to stay and look forward to coming back again!
We were delighted with "Tiny Livin." It was indeed a great find. The owners have converted cottages from a long ago motor court into a wonderful place to stay. The small houses have been beautifully restored. They are quite comfortable, impressively decorated, fitted with fridge, microwave and burner for food prep, and fully supplied with glasses, dishes, pans, etc. and bathroom and cleaning needs. The landscaping around each cottage is impressive. There is also a great deal of outdoor space for games and activities or just sitting in the shade and reading. The site is located 5-10 minutes from Cape Charles, so it is convenient to the town and area. We were just two, but we imagined how perfect the place would be for family reunions or groups of friends looking for a place they could gather that was more convenient and comfortable than hotels might be.
Visited Cape Charles for a couple of days and this property was perfect for some piece and quite. The owners have done a great job and I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
We had a great experience at this property. The communal area was well kept and inviting. Parking was easy. The host was very clear with check in and out instructions. My husband and I enjoyed our stay greatly and how close the property was to everything we wanted to do in the area. Our pets loved it too! We can’t wait to come again!
The place was perfect and exactly what we expected. Close to town so we rode bikes to Cape Charles. The owners have taken great pride and imagination to make every unit special. Plus who doesn’t love a nightly bonfire and grilling area.
We stayed here for a long weekend with our dogs. The tiny house was beautifully renovated, with all the necessary amenities. The property was quiet and perfect for relaxing. The drive to the beach was just a few minutes in either direction. We would stay again without hesitation!
