This was the best cabin we stayed in! Super clean and VERY well designed. Complimentary toiletries and available items/amenities were absolutely amazing. Price was great for the value! Fans in every room10/10 would stay here again.
The cabin was beautiful and spacious. The hosts were amazing, they were so accommodating and always answered all my crazy questions. I would 100% recommend this place.
Pure luxury! Perfect getaway for our family - my parents (who have mobility issues) were able to stay on the man level, while kids were downstairs and we had the top level. Only 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, with a gorgeous view. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
This cabin was absolutely beautiful cozy cabin vibes with an upscale spa feel. The steam shower and bath were incredibly relaxing, and we took full advantage of the daybed swing, which was perfect for reading and cross stitching. You can tell the home is very well maintained and thoughtfully cared for. The host clearly put a lot of effort into supplying quality essentials, and it shows. It’s also obvious that guests who stay here respect and take care of the property, which says a lot. The host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire process. We truly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back again.
WOW, just wow! So often you choose a property online and hope the pictures match reality. This beautiful cabin was better than the pictures and had almost every amenity you can imagine. From heated towel racks and heated floors (in the master bedrooms) to a sound system, outside heaters, a fireplace on the deck, jacuzzi, electric blinds, game room, great kitchen, two decks and a bedroom balcony. It's in a beautiful area not far from downtown Blue Ridge and we had an amazing time celebrating our youngest son's 30th birthday. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home and we look forward to returning again.
Our stay was wonderful, the view with all the fall foliage was great, the cabin was beautiful, and the host was very kind and helpful. Can't wait visit again!
We had the best time staying at this beautiful cabin. It had everything that we needed, coffee on every floor and heaters on the porches! About a 25 min drive to blue ridge, would definitely stay again!
My family and I loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful cabin. From the moment we walked in, we fell in love with every detail and the views were spectacular. Will definitely be booking again.
We had a wonderful time with family celebrating Thanksgiving!! House was very well equipped with just about everything we needed! We’ll definitely book again. Thank you!
This property is gorgeous. It literally has everything you would need for a great experience. I have stayed at many vrbos and this has been the nicest. It was an amazing trip.
Our large group of 2 families consisting of 4 adults and 5 kids was comfortably accommodated in the house. The house is very well equipped, kitchen utensils, grill, smoker, hot tub, and games. The view is amazing, very quiet neighborhood to enjoy the tranquility and relax. Good, fast and prompt communication when questions came up. We didn't want to leave, looking forward to our next stay!
Loved our stay at Maple Whiskey Cove. Catherine was an amazing host. Communication was excellent and there so many nice touches. The cabin was amazing. Nice view, hot tub, fireplaces, everything you would want in a mountain house. And everything was clean and in great condition. Will definitely plan to return!
This cabin is even prettier in person than the pictures! It’s gorgeous and completely stocked with everything you could imagine to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The heated floors and towel rack in the master were a wonderful surprise! We’ll definitely be staying there again when we go back to Blue Ridge.

About the host

We're a family of 5 that loves to travel. We first fell in love with the Blue Ridge area when Grant and I traveled here and rented our first cabin for our first anniversary many years ago. Since then, with the demands of high-stress jobs and three intelligent, energetic, and beautiful daughters, we wanted to find a place that would help us create great memories and draw them back after they leave the proverbial nest. I'm originally from Canada, so you will find Maple Leaves (not Leafs - we're Lightning fans from Tampa) throughout the cabin.
We wanted this cabin to be a retreat for our guests and us. We hope that you enjoy the extra touches as much as we do. There is nothing like a morning steam shower with a few drops of eucalyptus or evening steam with some lavender. Cuddle up in one of the oversized chairs in front of the fire and read one of our favorite books.
This cabin has many tributes to the people we love in our lives. Please enjoy the books but don't take them with you; many are very special to us.
The handmade Jack Daniels barrel table and stools are a tribute to Grant's mom, my beautiful mother-in-law, who left us too early from ALS. She loved a good Jack and Ginger, and we think of her whenever we sit at that table.
The singer sewing desk in the loft is a tribute to my sweet mother, who sewed all my dance costumes and made clothes for her younger sisters. My great-grandmother was also a seamstress in NYC and made my mother's wedding dress for her.
The Tractor bar is made from a 1960's Massey Ferguson tractor. My grandfather worked for Massey Harris and Massey Ferguson in Toronto and could tinker on any tractor or lawnmower and fix almost anything. I have to say, this was one of the most extraordinary items I found for our cabin.
Why they chose this property
We've always loved the north Georgia mountains, and our long-term goal is to have a vacation home there. We like the privacy of the cabin that you can't get in hotels and loved that our builder was willing to customize the home to our family's needs - togetherness but space at the same time.
What makes this property unique
I wanted a space where people could be together but also have their space. I tried to plan the cabin so that you could enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine, on the deck no matter which floor you were on.
We're a family on the go all the time, and I wanted to make sure that we could stay put at the cabin and still keep the kids entertained. There are plenty of games inside and out, and spaces for everyone to curl up with a book, a movie, chat or just take a nap. Our kids all love the swing bed and often have deep sisterly conversations swinging together.
You'll enjoy using the gas heaters on the porches in the cool mountain evenings, while you visit with friends and family. The sonos music system flows throughout the house which always sets the mood for our day or night.
