At the Top of the Shenandoah Valley

We are a multi-generational family with a 20+ year tradition of renting a large home for the Thanksgiving holidays. This property has to be one of the best yet. The house is beautiful, very well equipped and very, very clean. It is has all the features mentioned on the website and much more. We even cooked our Thanksgiving turkey in an outdoor pizza oven! The place is very private with no nearby neighbors. But it is less than 2 miles from one to the best wineries in the area. The driveway is steep and winding; the price you pay for the fantastic views at the end. This is a five star property.

Nature and wine tasting excursion with friends

This home and property was phenomenal! The large house was lovely and spacious, and had views that were absolutely breathtaking. Lots of room for dining indoors or out and many details to make your stay as hospitable as possible. The beds were super comfortable and the atmosphere was very inviting. The kitchen was better stocked than a professional kitchen which came as a delight to our foodie group. There is also a hidden secret at the bottom of the hill - a small, lovely river with a private beach area to picnic. The hike back up the hill was well worth seeing the beauty of the property. The location couldn’t haven’t better positioned by all my favorite wineries! What a glorious trip we had. This was the best rental I’ve had - the property management was incredibly responsive and accommodating!
