The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Start 1 load of laundry (leave all other dirty towels/sheets) by Dryer. Leave comforters on bed. No need to do it, just start it.
Start load of dishes before you head out. Clean remaining dishes and put on drying rack. No need to put away. We got it.
Return all lake toys, chairs, fish rods, bikes,..etc to proper place. Leave house unlocked for cleaner
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Fireworks.
No pets due to neighbor's dog. Friendly, but excitable with other dogs. For your pets safety.

If you’re looking for a place on lake Winnebago this is it. Really nice cabin with a perfect location for lake access and plenty of food close by. Everything we needed and then some.

We had a great stay! Cabin is very cozy and warm with everything you need to feel at home. The house was pretty clean, but lots of dog hair! It didn’t bother us much. Also not a great spot to go ice fishing. But we still had a great time! We would love to come back in the summer.

Relaxing Cabin on The Lake

Staying at this cabin exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the cabin cozy and clean, and our host “Josh” was fantastic - went above and beyond. Our stay was magnificent. We highly recommend staying here!

My family had a wonderful relaxing vacation at this log cabin. The cabin is clean, comfy, and has all the amenities. Beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed great fishing and the kayaks too. So much fun! Josh is a wonderful host. Friendly neighbors, and great location. Highly recommend!

Great family fishing trip!

Love staying at this log cabin home! The kitchen has a wonderful view of the lake and the loft is spacious and cozy to play games or watch a movie! We loved swimming off of the dock and catching some walleye by boat nearby! Josh was excellent and always responded quickly with questions!

We loved our stay at the lake. The cabin was exactly as described with amazing views, a beautiful dock and easy lake access. We enjoyed everything from fishing, to dining, to yard games. The cabin was quaint and relaxing, and Comfort Point is definitely a quiet area. Our family get-a-way was simple, relaxing and easy thanks to the cabin host supplying us with everything we needed.

Growing up all I ever wanted was a cabin up north to enjoy my personal love with the outdoors. I had seldom opportunity to travel north with my family to get away and enjoy the best things Wisconsin had to offer. Driving past log cabins always made me feel that owning one would make the Northwoods experience so much more real. Only ever getting the opportunity to see them as model homes, rentals, or a friends home made me want to make this dream come true. I purchased the property in 2021, and its has been a true blessing. Now, I want others to share the same dream while offering them a family experience they will never forget. Those experiences with my family are worth more than anything else in the world to me.

I hope you find this rental experience to be a solitude to all your favorite outdoor activities with your family. From talking long peaceful walks, catching fish from the dock or your boat, cooking out on the grill, kayaking the bay, and sharing memories around the campfire.

Why they chose this property

The real cabin experience at the lake in a small calm and peaceful neighborhood. Not many cabins can be found on the lake in the area like this one. Built in 2012. Very peaceful from sunrise to sunset. Ability to access the lake within steps for any watersport activity, enjoy evening fires with friends and family, great dinning just miles away, and in town options 10-15 min away.

Ability to rent boats in town at multiple locations, and options at the local campground which is a half mile away.

What makes this property unique

The authentic full log cabin with great views, decor, fishing, and boating options. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets if you like to take walks, run, or bike. In addition, we have a variety of options for activities for our guest including fishing equipment, kayaks, games, and night fires. An overall great family vacation location.
