About this property

Firefly meadow

Our delightful off-grid cabin is a great place to disconnect. The post-and-beam cabin is tucked away in a meadow that is often active with birds, butterflies, deer, and turkey. A stream runs nearby, meaning that you can listen to the sound of running water while drinking coffee or a glass of wine on the porch. We love this space and hope that you will too.

Curious about what off grid means! We have a toilet that flushes and a sink you can wash dishes in. We have a gas stove for you to cook on. Our solar system powers lights and a fridge. We have rigged an outdoor shower that uses water collected from the rain. Our guests love our disconnecting in our space and the creative ways we’ve made off grid life so comfortable!

The fireflies were amazing !! The porch swing was our favorite ! Cabin is cute and rustic . The driveway is long and very rough . So thankful that we brought my husbands truck as I’m not sure my car would have made it .The area is beautiful and Ticonderoga was great .

Just wonderful!! Safe, peaceful and comfortable. It was an awesome experience. Lovely host, too. Looking fwd to visiting again. (Bring boots for when it rains)

Mountain get away

Loved being able to disconnect from the world! Literally. Only cell service that worked is Verizon. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. Was a great location to go to Champlain and Lake George.
