About this property
Buffalo Cabin - Private Pond, Kayaks, Fire Pit on 150 Acres
Tucked away in nature, this peaceful one-room cabin is the perfect little escape from the busy world. Surrounded by trees and sitting near a quiet pond, it’s a place to slow down, breathe deep, and just enjoy being outside.
You’ll have access to 150 acres to wander—whether you want to hike, bike, fish, or just relax and take it all in. Feel free to take a dip in the pond, float around in a kayak, or explore the creek. There’s a private dock for unwinding, a cozy front porch for sunrise coffee or sunset views, and your own fire pit to wind down at the end of the day. Nights are quiet and peaceful out here, with very little light pollution - perfect for enjoying an uninhibited view of the stars. This space is all yours when you stay at Buffalo Cabin.
There’s also a shared pavilion and a larger fire pit on the property if you feel like mixing things up a bit. Kayaks are available for a little adventure or a lazy float.
You’ll likely meet some of the friendly animals that call this place home too—goats, mini cows, a potbelly pig, chickens, cats, and a sweet, friendly dog.
Inside, the cabin is set up to keep things simple and comfortable. We’ve got you covered with linens, towels, pillows, blankets, a mini fridge, mini stove, microwave, pots and pans, dishes, cups, and silverware.
A few quick notes: fishing is catch-and-release, the waterfall depends on rainfall, a waiver is required at the start of your stay, and please no smoking inside the cabin.
This is a country setting, so you may experience bugs, wildlife, or changing weather - it's all part of the charm out here!

About the host
Hosted by Scott Stone
We’re local to the area and love spending time outdoors, which is what inspired us to create Buffalo Cabin. We’ve always wanted a simple, peaceful place where people can slow down, enjoy nature, and take a break from the busy day-to-day.
We enjoy being hosts because we love sharing this little piece of land with others and knowing people get to make memories here—whether that’s relaxing by the water, exploring the property, or just enjoying the quiet.
We try to give guests their space but are always nearby if you need anything.
Why they chose this property
We chose this area because of the wide open space, water, and peaceful surroundings. It’s not your typical neighborhood—it’s quiet, natural, and full of little things to enjoy, from the pond and creek to the animals on the property.
It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, spread out, and feel like you’ve truly gotten away for a bit.
What makes this property unique
We created Buffalo Cabin as a quiet place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. What started as a simple spot by the pond has turned into something we love sharing with others.
We spend a lot of time here ourselves and have tried to keep it peaceful, comfortable, and connected to nature. From the animals on the property to the water and wide open space, it's a place to unplug and just be.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
