Welcome to Sourwood Treehouse in the Village of Cheshire in Black Mountain. Stylish "treehouse" on 3 levels. Main level offers cozy living room and well appointed kitchen with gas stove. Continue upstairs to the primary bedroom with king bed, wet bar with wine fridge and private deck with chairs. Gorgeous en suite bath with tile shower. The bottom level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom with queen and second w/ bunk beds. Big hot tub, fire pit & outdoor dining area! Plenty of parking. Drip coffee machine in the kitchen and Keurig machine in the primary suite. We have fast high speed internet and smart TVs, the main level tv is connected to cable.

The Perfect Mountain Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sourwood Treehouse. Jessica was incredibly responsive whenever I had a question. The house was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. And, how can you not love getting out for long walks in the Village of Cheshire and neighboring park.

What an adorable place! The owners thought of everything!...even decorated so nicely for the holidays. And the little village of Cheshire is so nice! Booking process and communication with owners was so easy and they were so helpful! Loved every single thing here!

Amazing Stay

Everything about this community is simply perfect. So glad we opted to stay in the Village as opposed to Asheville. Super quaint and so close to everything. Great trails for walking too. the house was SO comfy and just as pictured. Already planning to come back! Hosts were great and very responsive, even had the home ready a couple hours ahead of time. 1000% recommend!

Beautiful home - Fantastic owner hospitality!

House was so nice. Beautifully furnished and even decorated for Christmas including a decorated tree. Owner left a nice welcome basket for us, and had lights already turned on for our arrival. The house was neat, clean, and very well equipped. This owner clearly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. A great family weekend - thank you!

Wonderful vacay, great location!

Wonderful place! The master bedroom is the whole third floor with a private balcony for morning coffee. Close drive for site seeing, hiking and eating out. We ate in and used the beautiful gas range most of the time. Enough space to spread out out but still lots of togetherness for our family.

Absolutely amazing house !

This house is absolutely amazing. It was just built and is simply beautiful. Excellent location in the village of Cheshire about a mile from downtown black mtn. The deck has quite a view of the moon and stars at night. Kitchen well equipped. Master suite has a wonderful deck off of it and beautifully tiled bathroom. There are two bedrooms and a bath on the lower level . Great size and one of them has bunkbeds. this is a wonderful area to walk. We were able to bring our 2 Basset Hounds who loved it. The property managers were excellent. They checked in with us to see if we needed anything during our stay. I had a question about some thing and Jessica promptly responded. there are two restaurants and a nice bar within walking distance of this house. Truly this is a great house for families or couples with pets. We have had the opportunity to stay in a couple of neighboring homes in Cheshire. This one is really special.

Eddie grew up in Black Mountain and I moved here in 2011. We met when I was hosting a wine tasting at Merry Wine Market in downtown Black Mountain and the rest is history! We own 2 vacation rentals in Black Mountain and a newly purchased island cottage on the island of Nevis in the Caribbean! We love hiking, listening to live music, trying all the awesome breweries around the area, and sampling food from all the tasty restaurants WNC has to offer! Why they chose this property

This house is perfectly perched at the top of a hill allowing for great views and that treehouse feel a it sits up in the trees. Lost of natural light floods into the home. The primary suite offers a private deck with 2 chairs and nice separation from the other bedrooms 2 floors below. Awesome deck space and a large hot tub with space for dining under the stars! Only one mile to downtown Black Mountain but you wouldn't even need to leave the Village of Cheshire. There are hiking trails, a playground, and dining options all within a short walk.
