Hi there! Our names are Natalie & Robert. We are a couple who, if life and finances permitted, would be on the go travelling and exploring new places and faces every day! Between the two of us we have six children, four are adults and two still live at home. We are a cross border love story! Natalie is from British Columbia, Canada and Robert is a Georgia boy. We now reside on the beautiful Emerald Coast in Florida. We enjoy anything in relation to the ocean & beach! A few years ago, we started dreaming about selling everything and moving to a tropical island, maybe a few too many House Hunters International episodes played a part in that! We ended up finding Roatan and instantly fell in love. Not only is Roatan a true tropical paradise, but it feels like going back in time to a simpler life, a true old school Caribbean feel. We love Roatan because there really is everything you could ask for; perfect weather, warm water, bustling villages like West Bay, where you can go for a 5-star dinner or eat a roadside stand, enjoy a night of drinks on a patio at sunset but there are also quiet beaches with endless reefs to explore. We found Rock Point Villas using a wonderful island realtor (shout out to Mary Montesorro of Island Properties!), after a long and steep learning curve we are ready to begin vacation rentals beginning May 2022!

At this point in our lives, we are a few years away from being able to pack up and live life full time on Roatan, so we are happy to share our little piece of paradise with other travelers looking to chill out and enjoy the vibe on the island. One of the main reasons we purchased Rock Point Villas is the neighborhood feel. Sandy Bay, Roatan is a beautiful mix of local islanders, ex-pats, and visitors. You are really immersed; you truly get the feel of Roatan. Rock Point Villas is fully gated and in a quiet, safe area, we also have an on-site overnight security guard for added comfort and gate control. The units are located on the north side of the property and the pool/self-use covered bar area on the south side. The bottom unit is a spacious 3-bedroom unit with a huge 650 sq ft covered patio for evening get togethers outside. On the top level are three separate 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom villas, all with king size beds and a large balcony with a covered palapa seating area with ceiling fan. The pool and bar area features an L shaped pool with a deck surround. There is a large bar area, currently the bar is self-use, meaning you are welcome to use the area as well as appliances, such as blenders and coolers. If desired and with advance notice, we can arrange for the bar area to be set up to your liking.

We are happy to rent the entire property out for up to 20 guests, if you have a family reunion or wedding in the books let us know! We have special group rates and can help you plan your special trip!

We are within a two-minute stroll to beach. Rock Point Villas has an easement directly to the beach on a path through the field. It brings you to a beautiful neighborhood beach where you can enjoy the teal waters and calm waters. You are welcome to use the beach chairs (advance notice required, but we will ask you all these questions with your booking) and enjoying long walks, tanning and snorkeling off the beach. Beach bonfires can be arranged with advance notice.
