The Temple House Villa is a stunning tropical getaway and is a contemporary private villa with a private pool. Relax and unwind in our beautiful landscaped garden surrounded by many tropical plants and trees in your own privacy.

The villa has been newly renovated to western standards and offers many amenities such as a gourmet kitchen and a luxurious, sunken bathtub. The decor is bright and spacious and open to provide maximum comfort.

The villa is newly renovated and furnished to a high standard and exudes tropical elegance. We have used high quality bed linen and towels to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We offer beach towels to avoid heavy suitcases!

If you want breakfast, lunch and dinner, this can be arranged on request.
Our staff will do their best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The manager can also organize visits and excursions on request. Please note that this self-catering villa is not staffed around the clock.

Bedroom 1: Master Super King bed with private bath and air conditioning.

The garden has a 12ftx24ft overflow pool with an outdoor dining area. We have a fully equipped gourmet kitchen: 6-burner stove with gas stove, large oven, coffee machine (Nespresso), coffee press, microwave, rice cooker and blender. Large selection of evening wear and kitchen utensils for the enthusiastic cook.
Free tea and coffee, fruit, and water provided at check-in. This will be enough to get started. Please note that you have to bring your own Nespresso capsules as they are difficult to get in Sri Lanka.

In the garden we have a large fireplace / grill area

Hairdryers and bath towels are available in all rooms.
All bedrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans. All rooms in the villa are equipped with a British 3-pin plug and travel adapters.

The rooms are cleaned and the beds made every day. Bed linen / towels are changed every 3 days.

Living room has TV / DVD PLAYER that takes memory sticks and external hard drives if you want to bring your own films. We also have a selection of DVDs for adults and children and some board games.

Free Wi-Fi up to a daily limit, all data beyond the daily limit require an additional payment.

Laundry service is available for a small fee per load (1000 rupees).


*** The normal electricity consumption is included in the rental price (up to 50 KWh / day). This is more than sufficient for normal use. Unfortunately, we have to demand excessive use, since electricity in Sri Lanka is scarce and therefore very expensive. Each KWh over the daily 50 KWh is charged with 100 SLR. The meter is read at check-in and check-out. If there are additional costs, they must be paid before check-out.
