Banner Cottage is located in the popular laid back tiny village of Stockholm, WI and is a 5 minute walk across the park to Lake Pepin's shore.

Enjoy the incredible scenery of the Driftless Area where winding roads take you through the bluff country along the banks of the Mississippi River.

Villages along the river offer shops to browse, delicious food to sample, and award winning local wines. Plan a wedding, listen to music, go biking, hiking, skiing, fishing, sailing, golfing or exploring, or just sit back and unwind.

Which ever you choose, Banner Cottage welcomes you and your friends and family. We hope that you enjoy your stay.

The space: Built in 1906 as the Country Doctor's home, Banner Cottage retains it's charm yet it's updated, welcoming, and comfortable.

Main Level: Enjoy a well equipped kitchen, an open living room and a dinning room with seating for 8. A shady covered side porch and a large deck under the trees makes a great gathering place to relax, enjoy the breeze off the lake, and to watch the sun go down.

With one bedroom and full bath down, and three bedrooms and a full bath up, the house comfortably sleeps 8.

We are located a short walk from all of Stockholm's amenities, from the beach to the bar, and to the shops and places to eat.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The town of Stockholm is very charming with many unique artisan shops. It is a very small town with all of the charm you would expect! The cottage is right on main street.

The house met our needs for the weekend and the owner communication was great! The location is wonderful for exploring Stockholm and we loved the coffee shop right across the street! The only con is how often the trains ran right behind the house, especially at night, but if you stay in downtown Stockholm you get the trains. It’s just good to be prepared for that.

Very clean and comfortable. The only drawback was it’s right on the main road and there were a lot of motorcycles passing by due to the beautiful weather and Labor Day weekend. Between the train in the backyard and the motorcycles passing by in the front, sleep was difficult.

Stockholm is a charming little town with the cutest shops and restaurants. Just a 7 minute drive to Pepin. The house was neat and clean with plenty of space for the 5 of us. Older home with lots of character, very well kept. Lots of ceiling fans and window units to stay comfortable on the hottest days! Host was very accommodating and responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend!

Quaint little community

Sweet cottage in a quaint little community. We were there during the Stockholm Art Fair, so that added some flavor. Beautiful area. The main downfall to the rental was the condition of the grill. It was a bit rusty and we had to give it a good cleaning before using it.

Great location to stay near Liberty Tree Farm

I was looking for a place to stay near Liberty Tree Farm that had a nice kitchen for food preparation. Banner Cottage had a well-equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed the back deck and browsing through the many shops in Stockholm! The earplugs that were made available by the property manager were much appreciated with the nearby train tracks. Thank you!

Host communicated well, made the process very easy. The home is older and it’s a little loud sitting between RR tracks and main thoroughfare. It wasn’t fancy but served our purpose well.
