We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin and would stay again! Our plans were to hike and have dinner at Cowboy Dinner Tree and we wanted to stay the night. It was the perfect location to all the things we wanted to do.
First visit to the dinner tree didn’t disappoint. The cabin was cute, clean and convenient. The refuge at Summer lake had an amazing variety of bird species and is a short drive away.
What a great night’s stay in Silver Lake. Everything that was described is accurate. Bonus for having unexpected surprise of tea, coffee, and sugar! Place is adorable and located very near the Cowboy Dinner Tree. Thank you!
Was just a quick overnight stay after enjoying the Cowboy Dinner Tree. Cabin is a great location for touring the area- the Dinner Tree, Summer Lake, Fort Rock, Christmas Valley, Crack-In-The-Ground, etc. We’ll be back :)
My wife and I spent 3 days for Thanksgiving here and we loved every minute. So warm and cozy with everything you need. Cindy was very kind and welcoming.
It’s small, exactly as advertised. It’s quite compact for four adults, but we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the AC and the sofa bed were. I personally found it cozy and fun, while others in our group found it too tight. Your mileage may vary. If you’re wondering why the listing says 8, the other 4 “beds” are sleeping mats laid out in the loft area — which would be incredibly fun for kids under 12 or so. We brought a sleeping mat from car camping and found it comfortable. The drive to Cowboy Dinner Tree was under 8 minutes and super convenient, and we also did a trek over to Fort Rock. Cindy was amazing with communication. Cute place; highly recommend. Our only complaint is the swarm of mosquitoes outside from the neighbor running their sprinklers during our entire stay. It made the outside spaces unpleasant to use.
The property was clean, convenient and well managed. Good communication from start to finish. It’s well equipped and the perfect place to stay if you’re exploring the area. There are limited options, and this is the best. Highly recommend…
We stayed four nights and loved this house! It's quiet and cozy. The weather was gorgeous and the evenings were crisp. The Cowboy Dinner Tree is just a few minutes away. We'll be back next year!
